Hakita you should have switched to VSTs a while ago
I use Guitar Pro so my band mates can learn the songs/ideas I write without me having to teach them for hours on end, which wastes valuable time that could be spent rehearsing instead of "no, that's not how it goes, it's like this, use this fret, this part repeats x times and then there's this variation here blah blah blah". I tend to get really impatient with that kind of shit, I've had Guitar Pro for years and I haven't tried anything else because I'm used to it.
youre not RECORDING songs using it tho lol thats what hakita does
Yeah guitar pro was intended as a teaching tool not a recording tool
well what program should I be using then
you could use cubase or logic or pro tools etc
you could use cubase or logic or pro tools etc
ok, i'll look into it
Reaper is cheap so if you're on a budget thats good buuut it has poor midi support (though it is being upgraded) [editline]9th September 2013[/editline] Cubase is very midi friendly, logic has a cool score editor that I'm not sure other programs do but its only for mac etc etc

i used cubase its pretty easy for me but has a lot of depth as well. good vst support imo
Okay, thanks for the help guys, let's hope I can get some good sounds out of that.
fl studio for life
pro tools tho
protools [editline]9th September 2013[/editline] franke, ninjas are bad people
I've tried FL studio a couple of times but it just seemed p. shit to me dunno about pro tools
fl studio is neat if you like to make music that isn't very good
fl studio is awful for anything not techno or hiphop related because its pattern-based not audio based cubase is good because it simulates a tape roll but dont bother with protools unless you have a mac, the windows one is shitty imo
nobody listens to techno
Protools is terrible on windows, in fact windows in general is not AS good as macs for sound stuff but really its irrelevant who cares FL studio is just not great I very much dislike it and the thousands of EDM producers who use it
nobody listens to techno
yet so many people make it for w/e reason
yeah I'm 100% certain there are more techno "artists" than techno fans even I have made a few techno tracks just because it's so damn easy
i only listen to electronic if it has a japanese girl singing on it
I only used pro tools on mac (which is really easy and smooth to use) so I can't talk about the windows version.
i only listen to electronic if it has a japanese girl singing on it
i only listen to electronic if i can buy it for a dollar at the bin in a record store
i only listen to electronic if i can buy it for a dollar at the bin in a record store
What do you like getting ripped off?
i only listen to electronic if it has a japanese girl singing on it
this would be funny if you were being facetious
hows the job dori
