its one of my all time favourite albums i guess
it never got old for me
Thanks for the feedback, I'll start off with Mars Volta since it was mentioned twice.

The cover art for Noctourniquet looks like a mix between the DSOTM and Meddle covers.
Don't start with Noctourniquet, do Frances the Mute or Deloused in the Comatorium, they're the best imo

I'm listening to them in chronological order, I just like to see the album covers first.
My favorite album by them is actually Bedlam in Goliath, but yeah, start with Deloused
Thee Oh Sees is having a concert in Atlanta in the coming 2 months, should I go?
Go to all the concerts you can because they're fun. Unless you're sitting.

I imagine they'd be hella fun live
Half way through Deloused and I recognize this song

this is a bullshit statement all concerts are fun regardless of how you intend to enjoy them
Sitting blows at concerts, end of discussion, no buts about it.
Also, so do "minor sections". The Crocodile in Seattle can suck a dick and I refuse to see shows there because I don't want to hang out in the little kids cubby which you can see in the top left here:

there is one but and its you you're terrible and a butt stop being so goddamn terrible
wow that is so incredibly rude
dude, 4 hour concerts standing up is not something I dig very often...
Well, when I mean sitting, I'm usually thinking of sitting at a show that doesn't really go well with seats. I saw Animal Collective at an opera house and it was the most boring thing because I was sitting in the balcony unable to do anything but sit there and watch.
unable to do anything.
Listening to music, consists of listening... and yeah.

Yeah cause its a lot of fun wanting to get up and move at a concert and not being able to...
get up and move at a concert
unless you are physically strapped to the chair, I don't know what you're on about.
is it illegal to get up?
Yes, it was not allowed to move up to the ledge, to stand up in your seat or to move to another empty seat. That's the case with most big seating venues.
I was sitting at Bruce Springsteen and it was fine, it was long af and I probably would've got tired standing so yeah sitting can be good. Also that was a p big venue for seating and you were allowed to stand up so idk what you're talking bout opal.

I'm sorry that some people enjoy concerts differently to the way you do. It must be very hard to hear.
i stand when bands play and never in between unless i have to. i need to work out more lol

if i was watching a chill pop act or anything sort of downtempo i would love to sit. the only point in standing is being able to dance. if you cant dance to it, sitting is much better.
[editline]25th September 2013[/editline]
thats why i dont see any slow bands live tbh. bore city usa
i like this beat

I dont usually go to shows where theres lots of dancing or like anger
the last show i went to was david byrne and st vincent and there was no standing tickets for that at all and for good reason it was way better sitting down
everyone stood up and danced to road to nowhere but apart from that it was awesome sitting and watching
I prefer to sit usually. in my experience any time it's standing room only it's either a shitty bar act and nobody is listening to the music or it's a major act playing in an undersized venue and the floor is packed like sardines
i like standing when there is a mosh pit to stand next to
