ttng basically takes math rock and then is like "but how can we make this sell" and throws in some of the shittiest vocals and uninspired playing ive ever heard
ttng is very enjoyable [editline]1st October 2013[/editline] lmao jk no it's not
I like their debut
I really like All Hail Bright Futures and think its a pretty good album because its not like math and emo, its just math that turns kind of post-rockish with limited vocals. I don't know how a whole concert would be like though.

okay so, i need to figure out this song i know its a long shot, but i heard it on the radio a bit ago and i cant remember any of the words, only (what I think is) the chorus i remember the voice going through some kind of phaser and it reminded me of classic/psychedelic rock but I think its somewhat newer this is what i remember (forgive the fact that its a midi, poorly made at that) hopefully i can get some light shed on this http://midishrine.com/midi/50649.mid
Dude, post in the megathread!!
Dude, post in the megathread!!
are you sure? i thought the rules specifically said not to do that and to post here forgive me if im mistaken
Fever Ray is pretty rad. Does anyone think that too?
so I listened to Giles Corey's self-titled album good night guys I don't know if I can deal with it
I can't remember this song and it's driving me nuts. I could've swore it was by Radiohead and it has a robotic voice saying something like Are you ok? Thought it was a song called R U Ok
the only thing with a robotic voice by radiohead is fitter happier, can't really think of anything else

Yesssssssss [editline]3rd October 2013[/editline] October 29 aaaa [editline]3rd October 2013[/editline] can really see where james murphy came in
came in my mouth its a nice pop song but its too full to be really dance-able; still think their greatest achievement is neon bible
intervention is a fuckin' good song
The official ranking is The Suburbs > Funeral > Neon Bible I'm predicting that Reflektor will be in between The Suburbs and Funeral
in other news, new Melt-Banana owns
I thought that album was kind of weird. I dunno, I was expecting something kind of rhythmic and fun but I just didn't get either of that and that's okay with me. but what's really important...
The official ranking is The Suburbs > Funeral > Neon Bible I'm predicting that Reflektor will be in between The Suburbs and Funeral
That is wrong the suburbs was by far not the best it was a very good album but not half as good as funeral or neon bible THAT SAID apparently only the first few tracks on this sound like that then it goes a bit more introspective but either way this sounds sooo good
The official ranking is The Suburbs > Funeral > Neon Bible l
hows that crack
I've only heard Neon Bible and I know the producer so I gotta give it to Neon Bible, y'know. [editline]2nd October 2013[/editline] Also: It's not a good thing when you make an album and have a label put it out but the only way anyone knows about it is via word of mouth and googling it doesn't come up with any way to purchase it. I had this problem with Waxahatchee - Cerulean Salt.
was playing around with a sampler today. tons of fun
i asked my mom for a midi drumpad for my birthday, but i thing im going to be buying it for myself
I want to learn to play piano. I don't have a piano. I'm thinking of buying a nice keyboard. I don't have space for a real piano, and I don't want a little shitty keyboard. So what about a Yamaha P-105WH? It's around 5000 kr or $800 something something.
shoutout 2 kalk for making me a new avatar ;)

I've been playing piano for 9-11 years and a couple of years ago I got that and I'm happy with it. It's a bit heavy, but it does the trick. [editline]3rd October 2013[/editline] Although I've looked at the P-205WH and it honestly looks alright, I haven't tried it myself so I wouldn't know. Check out some reviews of the P-205WH and the DGX-640 and compare them.
