Fuckkkkkk i thought I had repressed the memories of that film. I didnt make it to the end of it
lol I almost turned it off in chapter 3 cos I was just like GOD but I stuck through and I'm glad I did. if I turned it off the film would have felt kinda pointless but after seeing the whole thing id say everything in It is totally justified. genital mutilation and all. undeniably hard to watch tho lol. fuckin Von Trier. pretty sure the guys kinda crazy. he joked about being a Nazi for like a whole minute when he presented melancholia at Cannes.
[editline]17th May 2013[/editline]
also am I naive or was everyone calling the film massively mysoginist being unfair? I think hey were
its the same for like irreversible cos of the whole s&m club and gay guy having his bumfun with Monica belluci like I don't think gaspar noe hates gay people its just some stuff that happened in his movie
(irreversible=literally amazing btw)
watching: "Who died Lee?" "You!" "Detective Yu?"
Misogynyst, I think not. Just because it was based on some theory that all women are evil witches or something, i don't think that makes him misogynist necessarily.
I think he just heard about it and made a good film out of it. Only watched it once though, so to be honest I cant really remember. Also as I mentioned, I didnt finish it.
And yes lars von trier is crazy
Antichrist is proof of that, I think he made it mainly to just shock people.
antichrist wasn't that shocking at all..
Most Lars films play with the bounderies of normal human conduct anyway, he can make you feel rough though :(
I haven't watched much shocking stuff, so it was a shock for me. Oh god. The bit with his legs... Oh my
only romcoms are real
love actually, is, all around

hope ur alright mate, sending many prayers towards you
I'm not really gonna think about it, he went away with the car about an hour ago and while I doubt he'll be gone for 2 days in the woods like the last time, I really don't know.
So the possibilities? He comes home today, or some other day or never. Who knows if he'll end it.
It's shitty, cause you don't really know what you should do.
