Welcome 2 the ownzone.
I know Panic! At The Disco sucks but has anyone listened to Pretty. Odd.?

Pretty.Odd. sucks but their debut is great don't talk shit
Pretty.Odd. sucks but their debut is great don't talk shit
Really I always thought that Pretty. Odd. was their magnum opus. Their Debut was really cool but it was kinda just like any other punk pop band out there. Their most recent album is really fucking boring and plasticy.
Anyways yeah I like Panic! but their new stuff is just so shitty compared to their old stuff and I blame the fact that Brendan and Spencer are terrible songwriters, considering on Pretty.Odd. and their Debut it was the guitarist writing everything.

scariest music ever js
Ok spotify i stopped caring bout "betas" the first time you played that ad
You don't need to play it EVERY TIME
spotify premium though
[editline]8th December 2013[/editline]
just share an account with someone and save a shit ton of tracks for offline mode if you absolutely need to use spotify
I used to use it religiously but I like having my 320kbps files, i can tell the difference.
Can't tell between 320/VBR and FLAC though
I don't use spotify because it's more convenient to have the music on my phone and to just connect that to my stereo.

Lossless audio for me is only useful if you're using a good stereo, if you've got an ipod or something just stick with AAC 256kbps, even 320cbr is useless.
That being said, my CDs definitely sound better in an 80s CD player for whatever reason I don't know..

digital equalization is pretty noticeable

i'm trying this new omar rodriguez lopez's project, Bosnian Rainbows right now.
not impressed.
I really liked Bosnian Rainbows. I always dig an Omar solo and Deantoni Parks' has an interesting sound in his drumming and Teri Genderbender w/e sings some nice pop hooks.
One of my fav's this year.
I don't like music.

I have a pair of V-MODA Crossfade LPs, after the break in they're much clearer but it's apparent that they were designed more for stuff like EDM, DnB, dubstep etc
I feel like I may possibly regret having all my 30gb of music on this computer in V0 once I get a nice desktop with a huge hard drive and good enough stuff to make the difference between V0 and a higher bitrate codec noticeable.
what happened to this thread? There's so little posting now.

I'm in that weird limbo between school being over and getting a job/further education right now, for some reason having so much free time is oddly uncomfortable.

yea, its not bad overall but idk, i'm probably unimpressed 'cause i've seen what he did throughout his career. At the Drive-In hit the spotlight cause they did stuff most post-hardcore weren't doing, abrupt changes and broken tempos. More of that in Mars Volta. Even more when he started working with Daetoni, Elitch and Pridgen (ex-drummers) were amazing, but Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group had this unique feel about it, even with Cedric in the vocals.
So, as a new phase of his life, after all those projects, BR is nice band
but yea, looking at what he did before that, i just wasn't impressed

I want to learn to play the piano. We've had one in our house for as long as I can remember, and I think it's about time to learn to play it. A good friend of mine offered to give me some lessons, so it's gonna be fun

I don't want to spiral into the whole the difference between audio formats discussion, but V0 and 320 are surprisingly very similar. Personally, with some recordings, I can tell the difference between V0/320 and FLAC on a pretty consistent basis, but with V0 vs 320 I can only tell the difference every now and then. And usually if I do notice a distinct difference between those two formats its because one was ripped improperly or some sort of amateur move.

I seemingly have yet to become bored with anything Omar's done. I certainly get diminishing returns by the time his 4th album of the year comes out, but I like nearly everything he gets his hands on. The drumming during The Bedlam in Goliath era of TMV is, to this day, my favorite drumming on any album ever. Thomas Pridgen's constant and full-force drumming on 'Goliath is an absolutely perfect fit for it.

I'm already lost on what to do when I have a long weekend and all my bros/gf don't have one.

During times like that, I survived and kept my sanity by doing "projects" like finishing books or w/e
