I don't think I ever have using Foobar. I don't know a way to do it where it wouldn't be completely terrible, considering how many concept albums I have. Maybe I ought to give it a go.
Is it album shuffle or song shuffle?
I have my foobar settings on album shuffle for if I'm playing dota2 and forget that I need to change albums when it finishes, but i generally pick what i want to listen to.

Because song shuffle is pretty ok if u can make on a playlist, and its fucking rubbish if you listen to shuffle on albums.
I had no clue there was an album shuffle option, that's brilliant. I'm always playing TF2 or Day of Defeat or something and have to tab out to switch albums.
I hadn't really considered making a playlist to shuffle from either. Perhaps I'll do that for when I'm not knowing what to listen to.
[editline]8th January 2014[/editline]
Just spent the past half hour making a playlist, accidentally hit delete with the playlist selected instead of a duplicate.
Fuck this.
[editline]8th January 2014[/editline]
Oh thank god there's a recover playlist button in the playlist manager. Crisis averted
album shuffle would be nice,
maybe a "mood" shuffle in the future, so I can just click a button and it detects what mood I'm in. Maybe that's science fiction..

Can't tell if that idea would be genius or hilarious.

What if you're in a mood that is open to some comedic names?

i had the best shave of all time poolside while listening to:

goddamn that was the essence of life
[editline]8th January 2014[/editline]
only cost 3 quid where as in the UK that would probably cost around £20
most of the time I never pay attention to individual song names on an album, and I listen to it as an album as a whole, if I really do like a song I'll look at its title though
I could never shuffle if I had concept albums, would just break the flow
gotta love the moog on that but Trans-Europe just overshadows everything they did tbh
I tried showing Trans-Europe express to my friends once and they pretty much responded with "What the fuck is this?"
Man machine is better
less varied tbh, still good
I don't use shuffle because I don't want a folk song to end and Feedbacker pt. 4 to come on immediately afterwards
I wouldn't mind going from the most sensitive song ever to Emmure since that would happen on my phone... I should give shuffle a chance sometime.
I went from a particularly heavy Mastodon song straight into Neutral Milk Hotel earlier.
Can't say I enjoyed that a whole lot
Who wouldn't want to go from this to this?
me
Finally got around to listening to The Smiths. They're pretty good, but I don't really see how they are one of the "greatest" or "most inspiring" bands ever. It sounds pretty par the course for 80s music to me.
[editline]8th January 2014[/editline]
For example, the song Some Girls Are Bigger Than Others has some of the least profound lyrics I've ever heard. I get what they're trying to do with it, but it's not really clever. And the song structure is so similar that the songs sort of blend together.
His voice is definitely unique and interesting, perhaps it'll grow on me.
Morrissey's voice has always put me off.

Yup.
