if there's a "music recommendation thread" i missed it, so i'm just gonna ask here can you guys recommend me music that's like what me and my friends usually listen to? it's mostly for this one friend cause he feels like he's been listening to the same stuff for too long. we listen to a lot of jack johnson, sublime, dispatch, johnny cash, bob dylan, etc. basically, lots of acoustic and reggae-ish songs, with some country here and there. thanks in advance
Really dig into neil young i you havent already. But if you like that folk style i would recommend Victor Jara Christy Moore Eddie vedders acoustic albums Waylon Jennings The black seeds! its neat when new people try to start posting in the music chat. i remember a couple years ago when i first started posting here, i didnt understand why no one took my classic rock circle jerk seriously
ahhh i remember when i went through my prog phase and listened to 70's prog rock almost exclusively *sigh* those were the days *looks up dreamily*
i remember when i listened to metal. i was a lame high school nerd of 15. now i listen to emo jams and taylor swift, and i earn money and am at college. im no conspiracy nut but if u dont see the correlation then you are probably in denial.
