i updated it and also this is my old one that I kinda binge used about 3 times ever, where i just went through and added all the films I've seen. But it was too messy as a diary so I abandoned it and am now only using Letterboxd as a diary to keep track of the films I watch as I watch them, not a history of what films I've watched (i have imdb for that)
Isn't it like 9 years old?
a little less than 8, it has aged yeah but imo it's one of those games that are still pleasant to look at even though the graphics and facial design don't exactly hold up

Yeah that's what I'm doing. If I see a movie I've seen and liked I'll add it but I'm not making this an accurate archive of my viewing history. But I add new ones I've seen and review them, or I try to make myself review them as I watch them.
Letterboxd sounds cool but I don't know if I really watch enough movies to justify it, and I like the idea of doing it diary style. hmmm
ive used imdb for years (got over 900 films rated on it) but I only recently discovered Letterboxd and it's definitely a better website than IMDb, plus its diary system is great and it doesn't have a god awful community. It's pretty sparse tbh but I'm still exploring it so idk if there's messageboards/much of a community focus at all but it's still a great way to keep track.
sidereel is more my thang, it lets me track all my tv shows and which episodes I have watched and that is good enough for me.
[editline]awd[/editline]
it also tells when episodes will air in my timezone and that is hella neat
i don't watch enough tv or film to justify using any of those sites

The facial design in Oblivion made me feel like I actually was in a shitty medieval kingdom full of peasants.

I thino its weird that there are people that never read or never watch films or never listen to music
Like are u really that ok with yr vapid meaningless existence u worm??? Don't you crave art and stimulation of the mind
Tbh if someone doesn't pay attention to the arts I will assume they are very very boring and lame
I don't read books (anymore), the internet has all the reading I want to do.
happy chinese new year, all

film and music are not the only artforms
now u know

I got back into reading recently. It's really much more fun than I remembered.
tbh i just find watching any television series dead boring. the medium does not interest me at all
film and music are not the only artforms

I think he means art in general. There's a lot of people who see two movies (in and out of theaters), who listen to two albums, who don't read any books, who don't care for visual art (paintings, images, i dunno the name) and are just content talking about something (????) with people who are similar.
It's just the same as people who appreciate art and don't care for something like, celebrity gossip, but its just weird from my perspective as someone who can't stop consuming art.
tbh i just find watching any television series dead boring. the medium does not interest me at all
but this is ridiculous. how can you not be interested in, movies and shows at its basic state, stories. Like, that's all humans have ever consistently showed some sort of appreciation for even on the walls of caves, people have adored creating and consuming stories. I don't see what makes television or film any more or less boring than anything else.
Don't you crave art and stimulation of the mind
but you can find said "stimulation of the mind" in so many other things

"the arts" is quite a wide margin.
pretty much anything in life can be seen as an art, so I dunno.. If someone got more out of sport than listening to music, I'd still find a lot in common with them.

Reading actually is really nice at night. It isn't boring, but will help you fall asleep. Just finished reading A Maze of Death by Philip K. Dick (one of my favorite authors). Would recommend it. He writes science fiction, but has it often focused on very worldly characters opposed to super soldiers who always choose good and save humanity. His short stories are more plot focused if you prefer that. Lots of famous movies based on his novels and short stories too. Most well known ones are probably Blade Runner (book was called Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and was pretty different), Total Recall, and Minority Report. I used to hate reading, but in the past few years have started enjoying it a lot.
reading is cool
