Anyone got any new albums they're prepared to blast all summer this year? I'm quite looking forward to listening to Pharrell's album. Heard some mixed reviews but I'm going to listen to it with an open mind when May comes
(By the way, does anyone else do this? Or am I just insane, as in hold off music til a certain period comes around where listening to it would probably be a lot more appropriate?)
The new albums from Real Estate, The War on Drugs, and Mac DeMarco will probably be on heavy rotation for me this summer
Also, yes, I do that. I can't enjoy some things if I'm not in the right mood for them.
I´m so obsessed with weird al its getting pretty odd.

Invagination is a pretty good name for a death metal band
Sounds like a band that slams that sickness
ha
let's be real for a second
the actual reason is that most of you people here are just contrarian assholes that hate the mainstream
I only listen to the sound of my own farts when I'm by myself because that's the only way I can be sure noone has ever heard it before
A while ago one of my teachers got in a car crash while listening to Yes and now he believes the band is cursed so he doesn't listen to them anymore. I can't make this shit up even if I tried.

was he on a roundabout?
Grandad drove over a roundabout.
Yea, he handed his license in when he realised.
was he on a roundabout?
His car was very Fragile which caused a lot of Drama, he was Close to the Edge and the other driver yelled "Open your Eyes" but it was too late.
What's your favorite Yes albums or albums?

What's the best album to get into Swans? Listening to The Great Annihilator just now, about 10 minutes in and liking it quite a bit. It's like a darker Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds although I know that comparison is not what they're famous for. I'm interested in the idea of the industrial noisy stuff a lot.
They're also playing here soon and I really wanna see them cos my friends saw em last time (2012 I think) and said they were amazing, all I hear is how good they are live.

Soundtracks for the Blind is a really diverse sounding album. I'd also give their live album Swans Are Dead a listen. If you like very raw angry stuff Filth is pretty nice.

Earlier stuff, like Filth, Cop, Holy Money, etc. will give you the no wave material you're looking for. Soundtracks for the Blind covers pretty much every style they've done, so it's a pretty good introductory album, albeit a very, very long one.
Speaking of Swans what is the deal with Gira's dancing.
