What's your favorite Yes albums or albums?
Haven't listened to them all yet but so far I like The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge. I listened to Magnification just to see what their later stuff is like and the first track is good.

Relayer is also great if you haven't listened yet.
I listened to part of Tales From Topographic Oceans and I really like the first song from 3:32 to 4:42
Second song on the album was probably my favorite, but it was overall great. Not music to really listen to when impatient, but is good for when doing something.
Best of Swans Eras No-Wave: Filth Goth: Children of God or Love of Life Just listen to Soundtracks Era: Soundtracks for the Blind Post-Rock-ish (EASY MODE): My Father Will Guide Me Up A Rope to Heaven Post-Rock-ish (HARD[ER] MODE): The Seer My Father is just a more digestible version of The Seer so if you don't feel up to two hours of music check that one out.
Soundtracks for the Blind mikey. Suggesting albums to get into bands with large discogs is annoying. Erryone got different opinions on whats good. [editline]26th March 2014[/editline] also, anyone wanna tinnychat?
My goal in life is to own Filth on vinyl. I'm not very ambitious.
my favourite Swans release is Public Castration is a good idea. It's so ugly
What's the best album to get into Swans? Listening to The Great Annihilator just now, about 10 minutes in and liking it quite a bit. It's like a darker Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds although I know that comparison is not what they're famous for. I'm interested in the idea of the industrial noisy stuff a lot. They're also playing here soon and I really wanna see them cos my friends saw em last time (2012 I think) and said they were amazing, all I hear is how good they are live.
Public Castration is A Good Idea is the darkest and noisiest thing they've released, but it's probably not the best to get into them with. Soundtracks for the Blind is probably their easiest to get into
I'm just listening through them chronologically, onto holy money just now. Liked all of it so far so I'll just see what stuff I like most
I did it chronologically too and it was a lot of fun to do. Good idea, mikey
If we're talkin about Yes I gotta post this
New tycho is pretty good.
Having a lot of fun with this. http://websdr.ewi.utwente.nl:8901/ Could probably use it to get some cool audio samples. Like 827.28 on LSB [editline]26th March 2014[/editline] This is actually really cool. Found some Middle eastern worldy sounding stuff.
