can anyone recommend me some artist's that produce music that sound a lot like MJ's 'Off The Wall' disco type era stuff?
can be modern or anything.
Woah, out of all the bands/musicians I listen to 26 are English, 6 American, 2 Australian, 1 Canadian, 1 French, 1 Scottish and 1 German.
That's a lot of English
USA: 269 (41K scrobbles)
UK: 52 (5,9K scrobbles)
Canada: 22 (3,3k scrobbles)
is my top 3
I really want the LCD Soundsystem box set for RSD but it's £75. I may just end up getting Cvrches & Chromeo's releases.

Get them, Bones of What you believe was my favourite album by the end of last year. A lot of nice night time music in it. Chromeos new album is going to be a pretty big summer release too.
1. US (535 artists, 43k scrobbles)
2. UK (199 artists, 16k scrobbles)
3. Japan (57 artists, 2k scrobbles)
shouts out to Canada
Also if we're talking summer albums, the new Real Estate is def gonna be my summer release for this year. Really pretty album.
if we're talking summer albums try my dick instead

still need to put it through its paces... It definitely sounds good enough for a portable sports player but I want to see if it'll give me no problems in the long run.
One things for sure is that if it gets submerged, it won't be damaged in any way.
US (280 artists, 33k scrobbles)
UK (48 artists, 5,4k scrobbles)
Japan (45 artists, 2,7k scrobbles)
Norway is a runner-up and only edged out by Japan by one band.
If I do it by scobbles it's
US
Sweden
Norway
I was bored so I rebuilt an 8-track cartridge and recorded a selection of songs from the Hotline Miami soundtrack.

I think I should of recorded to a cassette instead.

Any flaws?

if you wear it incorrectly and let water into your ears then you won't hear much. but that makes sense since sound doesn't go through water well. So next time I go I'll have to adjust it properly. Plus the buds I used were slightly too big.
I've only swum with it for an hour and half. I reckon a weeks use will be enough to make my final verdict.

This is seriously cool. You can be really creative with stuff like 8-tracks and cassettes.

listened through it now, opinions:
production is fantastic, everything sounds very professional and clear
found the actual content of the songs to be lacking though, they just felt too slow and never really went anywhere
also could have used some more variety, the last track is a good change of pace and sounds distinctly different from the other 3 tracks, which i found to be pretty samey
still, im no dark ambient expert, these are just my opinions
they just felt too slow and never really went anywhere
dark ambient music not prog
dark ambient music not prog
i do occasionally listen to dark ambient and i love drone
if you listen to his other EP, Two, that's much better in my opinion
there's lots of variety and the songs feel dynamic and fluid rather than the static unchanging sound of his newest EP
it was a bad joke sorry :(
I've been catching up on a lot of live albums lately, there's a uniqueness about live albums in that there's a whole new level of difficulty and edge about them. The spontaneousness of it all is something you don't get from a studio record and the audience plays a good part in the experience sometimes.
Plus the sound explodes out of the speakers, it's amazing.

The first 3 songs are from a failed concept album I was making about nuclear war, so that's why they sound samey.

One of my favorite live albums is Vital by Van Der Graaf Generator. It sounds really different from their studio album stuff.
god damn it my iron maiden - afraid to shoot strangers stops playing 4 mins into the song and makes a horrible skip sound ;-;

if it's a record, just clean it.
if it's digital, feel ashamed and get an actual good encode/CD.
I got College Dropout from the library, I'd like it alot more without the dumb skits interrupting it.
Hawaiian shirts are coming back, stripes are everywhere and denim on denim is going stronger than ever, whatup 90's.

Yeah that's normal but I don't own a denim jacket myself. Personally I prefer the way denim jackets look with black chinos or something like that.
