What's the longest song you ever heard? For me it's The Incident by Porcupine Tree which is 55 minutes and 15 seconds.
I guess maybe Elu of the Nine - Maurerische Trauerdrohne Which is meant to be one song that's just over 2 hours. But due to format it's split into 2 parts, so not sure if that really counts. If not I guess it would be Hypothermia - Skogens Hjärta It's 1 hour and 8 minutes.
this is gonna sound strange as fuck but like i read through some of my old posts in this section I'm honestly extremely sorry for the person I was the past 5 years, I acted terrible and I'm very sorry for putting you guys through that shit.
We love you anyway bb.
Longest song I've listened to is Absolutego. Go Boris.
What's the longest song you ever heard? For me it's The Incident by Porcupine Tree which is 55 minutes and 15 seconds.
Song? No idea. However this 10 hour breakdown is the longest track I've heard, it's not the same thing over and over so it's pretty cool.
Should I go see the Macaulay Culkin The Velvet Underground Pizza cover band? They're playing here in Seattle but I dunno...

Tobacco just came out with his new single, which Eric Wareheim's directed the video for. The music video is pretty awesome. http://vimeo.com/91776291 pretty cool.
I loved that video. The album is pretty great too. It flows really nicely and occupies a good space in a room so its good background jams. It's a double LP and I feel that with intensive listening its a bit too much near the end or halfway point, but its got a really solid opening for that kind of listening at least.
I'm trying to find a song, but i can only really remember one part of it. It's sounds something like "here on the edge of the ___ of madness", and it's a man singing - i think the song mostly involves that repeating a few times. Anyone have any ideas?
sun structures is a great album
Temples? Shit yeah.
I posted this in musicians off-topic but it's not the busiest forum so i'll post it here too. I've just started playing around in ableton live... Just mucking around with the samples to make little songs using the draw tool. Would something like this be okay for what I'm doing http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Korg-Micr...6f8d7c0&_uhb=1 Just to make it easier than using the draw tool for things? Or is it not necessary.
is mrjazzy ever coming back? I was gonna give him some blues recs :(
Body Count are very good.
What's the longest song you ever heard? For me it's The Incident by Porcupine Tree which is 55 minutes and 15 seconds.
The Incident's more a concept album that one single song I mean I know Steven Wilson likes to say it's a single song, but each track feels completely separated musically If we're counting things like that that are labelled as a single song but are split up into parts and don't really feel like one song when you're listening to it, then Boris's Flood would be the longest non-gimmicky thing I've heard (70:32), otherwise it'd be the american release of Absolutego at 65 minutes [editline]23rd April 2014[/editline]
is mrjazzy ever coming back?
how have i not listened to this 94/100 on metacritic that's insane
It's nice if you like stoner metal. It isn't the kind of music I'd actively listen to, but it is nice to play while working, browsing, or just chilling.
