I'm really happy that the boy bands that are actual bands revival is finally becoming a reality (srs) (even tho I only know like 1 band that does it successfully in 2014)
[editline]awd[/editline]
I'm still baffled that this band started out by covering ADTR and blink-182 songs and is now touring with 1D. (digging this band a lot not gonna lie ty tumblr dash)
Busted is a cool band name imo
For anyone that wants to check out some weird Noise/Dark Ambient stuff I've been working on.

I remember my grandma went to Thailand and could've got me something cool like a Buddha statue or something but she came back with a Busted CD...

Oh god they had a fan phone in to radio 1 a few weeks ago and the conversation was as awkward as ever.
It probably cost like 1 buck tho

im not feeling the first one, but the second one is absolutely massive, that part at 0.35 just blew my face off
i think now is also a good time to mention that with my summer vacation starting soon i'll start working on a drone/dark ambient/experimental metal/post-rock/whatever album with REAL instruments
Busted teamed with McFly and became...McBusted...uggh.
Anyone know any good study music?

The new Godzilla movie was pretty damn awesome.
I've heard such mixed reviews, from it's horrible and shit to it's amazing and awesome.
godzilla vs mechagodzilla is still the best godzilla movie
i remember watching that shit all the time on VHS
I've heard such mixed reviews, from it's horrible and shit to it's amazing and awesome.
It's great, but if you go into it expecting it to be a super duper action spectacle ala Pacific Rim you're gonna be dissappointed.
I though it was a great mix of human drama and FUCKING KAIJUS oh wait they were just teasing THERE IT IS AGAIN HOLY SHIT ITS HUGE oh it's gone now HOLY SHIT NOW THEY'RE FIGHTING oh now they moved the camera away.
Then when they finally show the fighting properly, it's amazing.
I haven't see it but Godzilla 2000 looks pretty badass
na King Kong vs Godzilla is the best godzilla movie imo, at least if you don't take it too seriously
original godzilla is really great too, its really different from all the other godzilla movies
original godzilla is really great too, its really different from all the other godzilla movies
it's way more serious in tone because of how recent WW2 was, my second favourite godzilla movie tbh
Are MIDI's still a thing?
Are there any good ones?
I was lucky enough to see the original in a 35mm print last week at the cinema. hadn't seen it before. Really great. Far more serious than I expected and played on a technique that likely inspired Speilberg in Jaws- Don't over show the monster, and focus on the people. godzilla doesn't appear for a good 20 minutes and characters are pretty well developed (I was pleasantly surprised to see one of the main characters played by a frequent Kurosawa collaborator) with great pacing and strong direction. I was really impressed by it since I expected camp fun but instead got a smart, meditative, tense, political allegory that pays off really well. Big fan of it but it's the only one I've seen aside the terrible 1998 US remake (I am gonna see the new one tonight, leaving for it soon)
man i really need to rewatch some of the godzilla movies, its been absolutely ages since i last watched one
Hey guys I want help remembering a song I recall listening to a while back
The title of the song was a guy's name like Michael or Steven, something like that, and I recall in the music video that near the end the guys in the band ended up having two heads or three arms or something like that. Ring any bells?
Edit: been searching for two hours with anything I can and I can't find anything. Goddamnit.
Edit 2: a whole day and nothing. I'm sure that the video has vanished off the face of the planet.
my favourite godzilla movie is cloverfield
Mine is Jet Jaguar
My favorite is that one gamera movie where the enemy kaiju shoots rainbows
The New Godzilla is bad
[editline]21st May 2014[/editline]
Very bad. Even for a blockbuster it is absolute vapid trash.
I enjoyed it. I knew it wasn't going to be amazing but I had a good time. It was better than the last one and that's all I really wanted
i haven't seen any godzilla movies but i loved Pacific Rim to be honest, it was a lot of fun
i haven't seen any godzilla movies but i loved Pacific Rim to be honest, it was a lot of fun
pacific rim is actually really different from the godzilla movies, pacific rim was all about the monster fighting action while godzilla movies usually only have one monster fight at the end and are more about the people most of the time
Mac DeMarco was amazing last night, I've never seen more helpless stewards in my life lmao.
