I'm excited for Emarosa's new album. also Four Year Strong.
I've found a few leaks of a few bands i liked come out and their songs are shit... this year is gonna be a shit one for music.
trouble with music fests is that when two artists are scheduled to play at the same time and I can't decide which one I want to see more.

It physically hurts me when that happens.
thing is, one of them hakita personally recommended and they're less likely to visit often.
decision made tbh.
Really excited for the new Weezer album, actually. It really sounds like the best thing since Pinkerton, and Hurley was pretty solid, and I actually liked Raditude a little, so that's saying a lot compared to the mediocre shit they've mostly been doing.
I don't remember the last time I was so excited for an album.
I never liked Pinkerton that much, but their first album is really great.
A lot of people are hating on the album art but it's great. It's rediculous
The album art is cool it looks like they finally tried after years of dumb and lazy art

It's about a fucked up individual trying really hard not to be fucked up (at least in his love life) and was written when after he had some leg surgery that took ten months to recover from, and was depressed at Harvard (him saying that he can't walk without a cane in "The Good Life" was actually true). I imagine it can be hard to enjoy if you don't feel sort of fucked up in your foundation or something. It's an interesting album.

Hurley and Raditude were literally pre-existing pictures that they used :v:

I'm going to Bestival I think, if Cvrches and La Roux clash my head will explode.
6 music can be pretty good sometimes, used to listen to xfm quite a bit. Radio one is absolute pup now though. Some of radio 2's stuff at like 2 am can be great, I listened to a thing about how country music has changed over the past 50 years, was great
I like BBC music documentaries in general, I remember last year I couldn't sleep so I was flicking through TV channels and ended up watching 3 hours of documentaries on David Bowie. But 6music is too eclectic for me they'll play Foals and then some Rolling Stones Mag "World Music" artist.
Weezers new album art. it came from some series of pics some artist guy did

Ah damn. Maybe we can still give it credit though because it looks similar to Pinkerton? Hurley's and Raditudes were just of a guy and a jumping dog

Radio 2's documentaries are quite good, the one they did on Donny Hathaway a couple years back has stuck with me.

My own problem is that i usually end up going to listen to obscure bands somehow all of my friends have heard of but me. It doesn't really matter though, my friends have decent taste and even if the music is shit the atmosphere is half the fun.
see chvrches
I always read it as "chuverches"
chvrches remind me of those tumblrs that substitute v or some stupid shit when they cant get the url they wanted
trvpcvnt lol
I think they did it to make their name more googlable

who was it?
I think they did it to make their name more googlable
yeah, i mean you google "churches" and you're probably not going to get far if you're trying to find the band
who was it?
mari boine
or Melt Yourself Down who I really liked but they're an English group so I'm far less likely to see Boine live.

The jumping dog is awesome, I put him on a bunch of other albums I have.
