Hey all. Anyone hear now any good rappers with a sound like Kayne? Listened to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy the other day and that shit was amazing.
I've enjoy Stoner Metal but so far Only heard of Bongripper and Boris. I enjoy the music of both but enjoy Deafheaven more better.
listen to Kyuss and Melvins, they both kick ass
So last night I went to the Offspring/bad religion concert in Pittsburgh, and bad religion sang the song "skyscraper" The first time I heard the song was the streetlight manifesto version, no google has failed me on this but any attempt at find who sang the original version only points me to that demi lovato song. so I want to know, was bad religion the first band to sing the song or is there another?

Did you like his rapping or the production?

I remember when i was "Straight Edge" hahahahahahhahaha dumb life. i was 16-20. All because the lead singer of my favourite band at the time was straight edge even though i wouldnt admit that. I'm sure it had something to do with my dad being a drunk aswell though also my brother being the town druggy.
being edge is fine whatever where it gets into fuck you territory is when you have edge kids who straight up treat people suffering from addiction or even who use substances at all as subhuman garbage. im edge and hate alcohol and hate being around drunk people etc etc due to family history but deciding people arent worthy of basic human respect because they use substances is a shitty as fuck thing to do not gonna lie as cheesy and cliche and dumb and caricaturesque as it is minor threat and a few other sxe bands definitely had an impact on my general approach to a lot of things in life, beyond just stances on substances, i guess just because of the way a lot of them put heavy emphasis on self-respect and stuff (its a helpful wake-up call when you spend most of your teenage years hating yourself)
i smoke weed almost every night coz i hate myself
At least you're not drinking like a whole bottle of whiskey all the time now, I was pretty worried for you at those times.
At least you're not drinking like a whole bottle of whiskey all the time now, I was pretty worried for you at those times.
I gotta say I appreciate all the bros here who put up with my shit durin those times, when I had no one to talk to I had all you guys getting me through it. Only been drunk 3 times this year, feel way better than being 17 and getting drunk on school nights and having unbearable pains in my chest.
I was kind of straight edge without even knowing what straight edge was for a while. I just never felt like doing drugs, smoking or drinking. People seemed to think there was something wrong with me just because of that, and I honestly think that's kind of fucked up. I started drinking when I was almost legally old enough to drink, because the only reason I didn't drink before that was because I just didn't feel like it was worth getting into trouble over. When I first started drinking I blacked out a few times and got really angry, and because of that I'm glad I didn't start when I was younger, because who knows what could've happened. I also have an alcoholic dad and step mother, and that was definitely one of the reasons I didn't want to drink or anything.
I listened to NEON iCON and it was really meh I did like Koykane a lot

So how do you guys deal with featured artists? Do you keep them in the song name tag or just completely remove it?
So how do you guys deal with featured artists? Do you keep them in the song name tag or just completely remove it?
Oh my God, it annoys me a ton. I usually look at whatever most of last.fm listeners use. If it is without it in the title at all I sometimes put it in the comment field. [editline]1st August 2014[/editline] Should specify though, last.fm isn't always good with tagging. For example, Sowing Season is mislabeled as Sowing Season (Yeah), when the proper tag is without the Yeah.
Nvm sorted out.
So how do you guys deal with featured artists? Do you keep them in the song name tag or just completely remove it?
(Feat. *insert name here*) is usually my go to choice.
just do it the way mixtapes are tagged if you're gonna put effort in it example 1: example 2: [editline]awd[/editline] tho the only tag I care about is the artist one, I don't really care what the other stuff is tagged like as long as I can listen to the song and recognize it
I listened to NEON iCON and it was really meh I did like Koykane a lot
Kokayne was the worst off the album tho.
i liked the Intro, Kokayne and Lava Glaciers the most off NEON iCON
