They take themselves way too seriously, and their political messages are pretty silly, but I still think they're fun to listen to.
Good band to catch live don't think I could go through one of their albums.

to be fair they are from the 90's they havent made an album in yonks
so I just bought Animals as Leaders first album. it was pretty awesone, but I think it sounded a little forced. a lot of the songs sound very similar too.
Ratm may just be the best band ever
Emmure is better to be honest.
Hi everyone! Just got back from Bestival which was v good even though Busta Rhymes was cancelled. Was worth the price to see OutKast & Cvrches live though.
I never used spotify on my PC because i thought it was just gonna be as restrictive as the mobile. I wished i downloaded the PC client sooner, it's pretty much premium with an ad here and there.
The new Darkspace album, "Darkspace III I" leaked on Soulseek.

Back in 2008-2011 it was as it is now sans a few features then they made it a lot more restrictive. Thankfully they've eased up on some things since.
Fuck, so i synced spotify with the music on my Homeserver, it's 434 GB. I waited 45 minutes for it to sync realizing most of it is what my parents listen to, and i should have just pulled out only what I listen to.

You can't really complain at all, you can listen to any specific song you want while being able to skip and switch all you want, with ads that happen about ever 30 minutes.
should i buy this for myself for my birthday?

Their first album imo was really different and released during the height of that retarded djent craze and that's why it caught on (aside from how fucking technical it is). Their second album incorporated jazz elements which are pretty obvious in most of the really extreme metal bands (specifically techdeath). While that was cool, it really took away from the overall sound and made it sound bland and forced and boring. Their third album however, is their best so far. Keeps the jazzy feel (imo) but adds in some groovy, entertaining riffs. It's a much better listen, and there are a few 2.5/5 songs but they generally have nailed this album.
The Joy of Motion > Animals As Leaders > Weightless
Good band, great musicians, it just hasn't blended properly until their third full length.

Quick heads-up, U2 is releasing their new album for free through iTunes. It's available right now.
thats too much money for a u2 album
I hear people saying their early albums are great (lol hipster) but i've never checked them out
I've never actually heard them before i couldnt tell you a song they did but I do know for a fact that they suck
No one likes Bono.
I only really know one U2 song, I've heard quite a few but all I can remember about them is that I was bored.
i think i have this predisposition cos I think they are the same band as The Police and I heard that message in a bottle song and it's really fucking shitty so I assume that U2 are awful as well despite not having anything to do with The Police afaik
[editline]9th September 2014[/editline]
and i still dont think my logic is bad
why listen to U2 when you can listen to bands such as Seaway

U2 were quite good, check this live album:

then go back and listen to "I'm AT A PLACE called VERTIGO, Vertigo" and compare and contrast.
Bono can suck my nuts.
Not in a good way either.

Halloween's a month and a half away, too soon for ghost stories.
Fuck i thought Spotify was an okay music player, but once I added all my local files and I have to organize them myself, I can't just pick what album i want to listen to. Time to get foobar.
Just sold some Eve 6 albums and bought me a Boards of Canada one, aw yessss
Music Has a Right to Children for those curious
I was making cover art for this band, but I'm sick right now so I had to get some rest before I managed to finish it, so they did it themselves and it just bothers me because it looks really bad lol
