Aww yea going to one of the listening parties for the new Aphex Twin album. Hype.
I've been playing TimeSplitters: Future Perfect all day because I have a fever (on my day off even).

meh just sounds almost the exact same as the original
Starting to experiment into swing revival, and honestly I'm digging it.
are we talking electro-swing here?
so what'd everyone here think of the new Aphex Twin
I thought it was ok, didn't really break any new ground, but was still a pretty enjoyable listen. Still think his best work are the SAW volumes
He did say it would be his most accessible album, so I wasn't expecting something ground breaking. That being said it's still a pretty good album.

Really? I still think RDJ is probably his most accessible
I hate overtime work.

I don't listen to twins, it's too confusing to figure out who's who.

someone should write a concept album about a high school janitor where all the guitar parts are solely sweeps

and the drums are recorded on trashcans
The Freddie Mercury and Michael Jackson Duet got released. Mixing is a bit shit though, can hardly hear Freddie's vocals

Can someone recommend me some good drone-based ambient? I really like Tim Hecker, Grouper, and Stars of the Lid
I have a few Natural Snow Buildings albums I plan on listening to at some point
