on the topic of electronic music, what did everyone think about the new Flying Lotus? didn't like it as much as Cosmogramma, partly because it's my favorite EDM album ever...but I hope glitch jazz becomes a new thing
So my girlfriend got me really into indie music.
Beck is really, really good. Odelay and Midnite Vultures are must listen.

They were the people that put silent tracks on Spotify and asked people to ply it on repeat in order to collect royalties and fund their live tour.

Since I hadn't been following its production at all, the new sound came as a nice surprise. Have you listened to Squarepusher's album Music is Rotted One Note? You'd probably like it
I listened to You're Dead! it was really good, I didn't know anything about Flying Lotus so I didn't know what to expect and I was a bit jarred at first but I really enjoyed it.
SAW3 will never happen, but I would love it if he did more ambient stuff.
what are you talking about, there are like 9 of those movies
I listened to You're Dead! it was really good, I didn't know anything about Flying Lotus so I didn't know what to expect and I was a bit jarred at first but I really enjoyed it.
Good. Now listen to Cosmogramma
Does video game music count? Stewart Copeland did a good OST for the Spyro games
So just re-listened to The World At Large and Float On about 5 times and really took in the meaning of the song and holy shit I just got a much deeper appreciation for Modest Mouse, those two songs together basically perfectly encapsulate my philosophy on life and shit
ah, generic videogame track #4526, a true classic
The nostalgia probably made me think it was really good
that is true for most video game music [editline]6th October 2014[/editline] that is, objectively it's almost always kinda boring same goes for tv and film incidental music
Hotline Miami soundtrack too good though. Can't wait for more from Hotline Miami 2 http://myor.bandcamp.com/track/blizzard
weirdo black metal kid making rap music=my aesthetic i didnt expect this to actually be sick as hell
Bones is legit as fuck, it sucks that peeps try to relate him to yung lean because they both have some similar beats. [editline]6th October 2014[/editline] I love both of them, but they're not that similar. [editline]6th October 2014[/editline] Kingdom Hearts 2 had an amazing OST, but that my be because it's my #1 game of all time + nostalgia
I want to listen to some more electronic music. What are some good babby's first things to listen to? I've listened to a little bit of house stuff in the past, and some contemporary stuff like Bassectar but not much else
Psychonauts is my favorite video game of all time but it admittedly doesn't have a very good soundtrack
Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy games have the best soundtracks also Digimon Rumble Arena
is there any good metal that includes synths?
Beck is really, really good. Odelay and Midnite Vultures are must listen.
He's also very, VERY good live unfortunately I missed the first 1/4 of his set at Bestival but he was still awesome.
is there any good metal that includes synths?
only nintendocore and crabcore
is there any good metal that includes synths?
Issues
That's pretty vague since the term "electronic music" is an umbrella term.
music made by rearranging the electrons inside the very atoms of our being
maybe u should try dream theater :~)
are they as good as dragon force?
are they as good as dragon force?
dragonforce is better, by far
