got an invite to the listening event for the new Scott Walker/Sunn O))) album... and it's in the same church where those chinese people abused me. gonna be so FUCkd up m8
The Scott Walker/Sunn O))) album is really good. Imagine Count Chocula singing over a horror movie soundtrack.
sunn O)))'s side of it was fucking fantastic, scott walker was a bit mediocre at points tho sick drones, wish there were instrumental tracks
sick is it out ill need 2 check it
sunn O)))'s side of it was fucking fantastic, scott walker was a bit mediocre at points tho sick drones, wish there were instrumental tracks
Not many will be a fan of Scott Walker's later years but after hearing Tilt, there's no going back.. you just have to feel the horror in his voice :)
The Drift is an absolute masterwork
Never listened to either Scott Walker or Sun O))), but I guess it's never to late to start. I'll have to give it a listen, seems right up by alley.
definitely check out Scott Walker's The Drift but I tell you now it is literally one of the most disturbing albums you'll ever listen to [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] there are moments in it that are just fucking horrifying, I never thought an album could scare me and shock me and legitimately unsettle me but The Drift really does. incredibly good though, I highly recommend it
So my plan is this order to start: Tilt The Drift Soused (with Soused)))) That sound good?
Never listened to either Scott Walker or Sun O))), but I guess it's never to late to start. [editline]13th October 2014[/editline]
So my plan is this order to start: Tilt The Drift Soused (with Soused)))) That sound good?
no that's too extreme, first notice how awesome his voice is, then go into his scary years.
Too late, just started Tilt. So far it's great. [editline]13th October 2014[/editline] I'm kicking myself mentally for not listening to this earlier.
you're a crazy guy.. Tilt really did bend my brain first time I heard it. fyi for The Drift, he punched animal carcasses to get a specific sound. it's just a ridiculously big contrast to his early work.
Yeah, start with Monoliths and Dimensions or the Boris collab when it comes to Sunn O)))
I'm gonna listen to Scott 4 next to see the contrast. Loving his voice so far though, it reminds me a lot of the kind of voice you'd hear in Church especially with the almost echoing sound. It's amazing how so far his voice manages to stand alone from the instrumentals while at the same time going along perfectly with them. This stuff is mental, but also beautiful. Also what's with that album cover? First thing I thought of when I saw it was H.R. Geiger and honestly that's the perfect cover for the album's style so far.

By the way bich bosch is definitely also worth a listen really great album, only album to successfully use a braying donkey in a song
Yeah, start with Monoliths and Dimensions or the Boris collab when it comes to Sunn O)))
Honestly, those are their only two albums I can enjoy.
Honestly, those are their only two albums I can enjoy.
No love for Black One?
Can't say I was a fan of it. Maybe I'll listen to it again at some point, but my backlog is growing once again.
Holy shit the Drift was fucking brutal.
The band called Electrelane made a lot of good music. Was listening to their stuff on a four and a half hour trip on the rode. Made the rode to and back enjoyable.
why is sweet trip so good and what is similar to their "you will never know why" album
No love for Black One?
White 2's where it's at.
The band called Electrelane made a lot of good music. Was listening to their stuff on a four and a half hour trip on the rode. Made the rode to and back enjoyable.
Electrelane is fantastic, particularly in their first two albums
Fucking trash [del]I love it[/del] [editline]14th October 2014[/editline] it's like the vaporwave rap version of Soulja Boy
