listening to some of glen campbells music atm shame hes got alzheimers now though, makes his music even sadder to listen to
Natural Snow Buildings are goddamn incredible. I've been looking for music like this for years.
sleater-kinney are getting back together GET HYPE
Went back and listened to 808s and Heartbreak and it strikes me that it's one of those albums you have to immerse yourself into. Criminally underrated as well.
i liked 808s from the get go. people were let down by the autotune but i was amazed he fucking used it creatively and not so he could sound relevant. What's more is the vibe on that album is killer. Outdoes anything Drake did thereafter.
When you stack it next to every other album he's done it's so jarring and unique. Coldest Winter has to be one of Ye's best tracks hands down. Plus I don't think you can compare Ye and Drizzy, both are doing their own thing and Take Care is in it's own league.
thing is... Drake totally hopped onto that vibe. He's also doing his thing nicely, but 808s just set the bar tbh. I've yet to hear his last album though (aka your avatar). Take Care is nice, reminds me of: << his album "Here, My Dear".
I'd say that artists like Drake and The Weeknd were directly influenced by 808s (which is common knowledge) but they added their own vibes. I enjoy NWTS but it's pretty inconsistent, the features are spot on tho.

Why the fuck can't I see The Jesus And Mary Chain live?
I think I have listened to New Slaves at least once everyday for the past 3 weeks. [editline]20th October 2014[/editline] Can anyone hit me up with BONES mixtapes? Only Garbage seems to be on the site when i go and check it.
yussss Sleater Kinney's coming to the UK. FUCK A DUCK. [editline]21st October 2014[/editline] also: r.i.p.
polvo is a good band
Probs late as fuck but Damon Albarn said that new Gorillaz might be in the works for 2016. Hopefully its more Demon Days than plastic beach.
I kind of feel like Damon Albarn isn't very relevant anymore. I have heard absolutely no talk about his solo album the week after it was released.
Everyday Robots was allright. Gorillaz is literally the only project of his i care about.
Blur has like 3 or 4 really good songs and the rest are just really really average whereas Gorillaz put out two really fucking good albums for their debut and sophomore efforts. Could someone help me find out what the name of this song and artist is? https://soundcloud.com/dave308/loki
2:34
I have been trying to figure this out for around 7 years. You are the best.
Twinsistermoon is like a side project of theirs of something iirc. That's pretty legit stuff too.
Twinsistermoon is the solo project of the guy from NSB, Isengrind is the solo project of the girl TSM is very balanced, similar to NSB, but slightly leaning towards the lo-fi folky side, Isengrind has barely any of that and is basically 95% the drone side of NSB

posting so much blur and i feel like i should be listening to them even tho i've basically never listened to them before
Blur are talented guys and I can see why they're so popular, but to me they just sound very straightforward and kind of plain.
