record labels are the culprits stop blaming artists for dumb money making schemes.

Well I mean her comments heavily implied that she agreed with it/requested it.

either side can do stupid shit yo. There's heaps of record labels that get fucked over by dickhead artists and vice versa.
1974 proto-drone, japanese guy and his friends playing in an art museum with self-made horns, specifically made with acoustic information of the place they played at

One of my most favorite, beautiful songs ever.
reverb is just the autotune of the 70s

my favorite sixty's classic rock band is the queen

Maybe in some prog rock stuff but synths only really became universally popular in the 80's. Also speaking of synths one of the best synth hooks ever.

Anyone know bands or artists that sound similar to Genesis or Steve Hackett?

unless you count Porcupine Tree because Steven Wilson wants to be Robert Fripp SO bad
unless you count Porcupine Tree because Steven Wilson wants to be Robert Fripp SO bad
yeah ofc there's some exceptions but the whole affair is pretty hilarious, it's basically the opposite of what progressive rock is supposed to be
how can you be throwback prog rock tho? doesn't that defeat the purpose of being progressive?
how can you be throwback prog rock tho? doesn't that defeat the purpose of being progressive?
exactly why i think it's dumb as shit
tbh there's a difference between progressive rock and actually progressive rock
progrock started out progressive (hence the name) but as soon as it reached mainstream appeal everyone started copying the big bands like genesis and the big bands just kept making the same stuff over and over because it sold well
hell, the only old prog band that never stopped being progressive is king crimson
I know most peeps on here hate the whole vaporwave meme rap thing, but I'm trying to find music that has the same sort of feel that bladee has, that sort of weird emptiness that was also on 808's and heartbreak.

The whole using auto tune to get that sort of empty feeling is rad af to me, but it's hard to find artists that use it that way, ja feel?
has anyone heard of Forgotify? It plays songs that have never been played on Spotify. pretty cool. there's a bunch of odd, obscure shit on here.

Heard this song on the radio and really enjoyed it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL548cHH3OY It's got a unique feel to it that I can't really put a finger on. Anyone know if there's a kind of name to this sub-style of song?
i'd call it alternative rock
