How do people go to drone or doom metal that play their jams at incredibly loud levels super baked? I did that with Bellwitch with a friend and we left before the opener was done because it was fucking ridiculous.
I read stories about people that dropped acid for the first time at a concert or a rave and I don't see how someone could do that the only time I dropped I was at home and had a few days laid aside in advance and I flipped shit, I shudder to think what I would have done at a concert
lol at people who stick to one genre of music for no reason My friends just found out that I listened to Nightwish, DMX, Tupac, generic trance, and then classical music one right after the other and they are so confused right now and flipping shit about it. People are strange.
Yea unless I had at least some kind of experience I'd never drop tabs or do shrooms or whatever outside of somewhere familiar and safe for me. I've never done them and while I'd be up for it it'd totally depend on situation. I don't wanna start tripping and freaking out in front of dozens/hundreds of people or in somewhere I don't know or some shit. It'd be in like a friends house or something with people I know and like. Speaking of trippin El Topo is playing at 10pm in one of the local cinemas but I'm already going out for my friends birthday what ADICK being born this date i really wanna see it It's apparently 2001 meets 8 1/2 meets The Good The Bad and the Ugly which basically sounds like the potential for the single greatest movie of all time
yeah i really want to see El Topo, would be awesome to see it in a cinema though
Yeah, I saw Enter The Void 2 weeks back (this cinema does late night screenings every saturday- last week was battle royale, before ETV was Drive, Taxi Driver next week) and man that is a cinema film if I ever saw one. Looked beautiful, the music and imagery were just outstanding in the cinema. A bunch of people walked out lol but I really liked it. Then again I'd put Irreversible on my Top 10 (Noe's earlier film) and I've heard lots of people say that film is shallow, mindless and artless that's disturbing for the sake of yet I'd argue the opposite on every level. ETV was trippy as fuck tho, reckon it's something you'd be interested in AK'z.

I've got a cinema like that just around the corner. It's an old fashion cinema with only one screen and nice big chairs. It only cost £5 to see Django Unchained. They' had Finding Nemo on earlier today and are showing A Scanner Darkly tonight

Good times mixed with the bad times make for the best nights.
I hear that Cameo is pretty good if you go with a group.
Yea that's where I'm talking about. Great little cinema. 100 years old next year, it's getting refurbished soon which should be nice. It has a pretty good bar as well but kinda pricey (10% off with memberThat and the Filmhouse are great smaller cinemas, and I go to cineworld a lot. Unlimited card is so great.
Come to Brazil!
Apparently I listen to my music with the volume extremely low. I've always thought I've had it a little too loud most of the time because, even though everyone else can follow the conversations fine, I have trouble listening to people's voices in a loud room, and in silence I get that ringing in my ears. so either everyone else has hearing problems or my ears are just sensitive. i don't know. by the way I've only been to one concert in my life and I wanted to go to the back of the room because I found it too loud, but apparently it was at a usual volume for a rock concert.
i usually have my music low these days because i've got fairly significant tinnitus. Its bad enough that it can keep me awake all night sometimes :(

I have mild tinnitus, it's not great
I don't know if I have tinnitus. I do have a high-pitched ringing sound in my ears all the time, but it doesn't annoy me at all and I just channel it out.
i wear ear plugs to shows hahaha idiots
I don't know if I have tinnitus. I do have a high-pitched ringing sound in my ears all the time, but it doesn't annoy me at all and I just channel it out.
yeah that's a sign of hearing damage..
I certainly have some hearing damage but its nothing that interferes with my daily routine.
