noni is such a good music man.
Sorry if wrong thread but has Spotify been fucking up songs for someone else? Basically when I play some albums it picks some of the songs in the album and replaces them with other songs.
An example is a live album where it picks one of the songs and replaces it with the one from the studio album.

you pay for this service?
you pay for this service?
Yup.
lol why pay for spotify
If spotify were in full partnership with audio files like those on itunes then it'd be very useful.
But it's probably filled with a bunch of transcodes and crap, unorganised drivel..
I bet they don't even tell you which edition of the record you're listening to.
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
320kbps
Where is the proof?
it could just be arse conversions made from 2kbps files.
320kbps, no ads, disposable income
Who knows, I don't really like the idea of streaming music in the first place
lame
streaming music is generally horrible for an artist's income though so
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
spotify pays more than itunes store but still pays a measly amount

most people don't care about that

don't be a tit, of course they're properly 320 kbps, it'd be illegal if they were anything but that and they'd have been caught out long ago
really the problem with spotify isn't so much if its benefiting the consumer (it is definitely a good deal for the consumer) but whether its a good deal for the artist (it aint)
most people don't care about that
That's not an arguement, people obviously do care that what they pay for works.

maybe I briefly confused it with grooveshark, my mistake. :)
lol why pay for spotify
Unlimited music, Spotify Premium on my smartphone means I don't have to use upp all my SD card with music, I have unlimited mobile data so I get high quality streaming everywhere I am.
The only non-spotify music I have is bands that aren't on Spotify. I love spotify.

I'm referring to the specification as to what edition of the record you're listening to, not whether it works or not
honestly noone except for hardcore listeners give two shits about what edition they listen to
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
spotify is good for discovering new artists but I don't think I would ever transfer the majority of my listening over to it
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
also yeah akayz grooveshark is a travesty
[editline]23rd June 2013[/editline]
after reading the amount of trouble robert fripp's label had with it I steer well clear
If Itunes implemented it and was less crap as a player, it would be vastly superior to spotify. Reason being... it's a lot more straight forward, a lot more people are aware of it and it's obviously got a lot more in its catalogue.
It's partially done this with its ability to stream records but if it were to go full on then it'd pummle the spotify market.
Thing is, if they did do it, they wouldn't make any money from people purchasing the music.
I thought more people knew spotify than grooveshark
I don't like streaming in general though tbh
Most are warming to streaming rather than having to store it. I'm well away from that because I really don't want to rely on internet use from a mobile network.
Give it 10 years when it's possibly perfected (it won't be), then I'll consider.

Streaming has only one advantage for me and that is when a site streams an artist's rare materials.
I'll consider streaming when its got a balance of fairness between artist company and consumer instead of fucking the artist
also rare materials are good to be streamed yes its hardly like they'd have made money anyway
Most people here who are against streaming still download music so check your priv.
are u tumblr

I'm not against like spotify or streaming or whatever but I do think it's dumb to pay for.
However I think netflix is amazing, I'm a hypocrite and give no fucks
yeah but spotify shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence as netflix...
Netflix is the future, spotify just isn't quite there yet.
While I agree, they're basically the same thing. only the media they provide is consumed differently and getting your hands on TV shows/films is more effort than downloading an album.
Netflix isn't available in my country. spotify free 4 lyfe
my dad likes italian disco and hates literally everything i enjoy
