The oldest dream I can remember is when I was like 4. I was with my older brother who was going over to his friend's house who lived across from us. We went the normal way which was through an opening in a metal pane fence. We went inside and the friend comes out looking normal, only he was like Arnold Schwarzenegger buff and only wearing tighty-whities. He warned us not to touch his peanut butter and jelly sandwich which was on the table and left. Like an idiot, I touched it and poked a hole through it by accident. So I was like "oops" and it cuts to a shot of his giant face in the background trying to eat us and me and my brother running towards the 'screen' in a 2D fashion (think the Andross battle in Star Fox).
Another one when I was little was at the apartment we lived in I was on the couch and some guy was trying to give me some shot with a needle. I couldn't let this happen so I was able to be saved by rolling around wildly and covering myself with pillow to avoid him. Cut to my dad's house who's showing me a wood finish he did in his bathroom. I wanted to ask him something but he somehow teleported outside because I heard his voice out there. I walk out of the bathroom and in my brother's room was some costumed figure watching TV so I run downstairs to the living room with him chasing me. I turn around and stand my ground and we do this super sped up karate battle, with me knocking off all kinds of ridiculous clothes and masks (but never seeing who he truly was). Finally after a while he's like "Nice moves, kid" and shrinks under the computer desk. I tip toe into the kitchen and wake up.
The only lucid dream I've ever had was walking up to my 6th grade teacher with a big grin on my face, then I yelled "FUCK YOU". Then I heard a really low pitched wailing kind of sound, and the dream kind of burned up like a movie reel. I woke up.
A waste of my only LD, if you ask me. :frown:
I had this horrible dream last night. There was some sort of fighting competition, and one of the competitors - a really sturdy girl - was picking on my sister, so I started to fight me, when she pushed me into a shallow pool filled with punji sticks. One went through my gut, and these weird green snake things - like what The Sorrow shoots at you in MGS3 - started writhing out of the hole. All the TV screens and windows were showing what was happening, and it hurt :(
No one cares about your dreams, I mean fucking God Damn, I see a thread almost every week saying how someone has "weird/unusual/crazy dreams" then describes essentially the bread-and-butter of dreams most people have.
Having dreams about breathing underwater are nothing new, nor are the claims of "vignettes of scenes" that you describe.
Come back when you have a dream involving midgets, latex, blood coming out of the sky, and the Moon becoming a giant Uranium Atom.
I've had this dream twice FYI.
So, I'm lying on a steel table in a operation room. I'm sleeping and can see myself randomly in both first and third person, when in third person I'm looking down on my self as a nurse or doctor or something.
They start to operate and reveals "my" heart. Suddenly the hearts stop right after they open up the chest.
They try to use a defibrillator to start the heart, but as they try and try they can't start it. A women say they are losing me.
At the second they say I'm dead I wake up as the thing have really happened :tinfoil:
My heart have always jumped when I wake up.

One night I set a personal record and recalled nine dreams. When I woke up I felt as if I were returning home from vacation.
I had a dream where I got up and started playing team fortress 2, but for some reason everyone is a street shark...

nothing beats this:
Basically a big white place, just white everywhere, and me and some random person slowly running towards each other. And I means slooooooow, the whole dream is just that, then I wake up before I see the person's face
The creepy part is how weirdly we move, its not just slow motion, its slow motion from angles that make me feel physically sick.
I had a dream I climbed through a window with a friend and ended up in another world with a talking cat called Bob.

Hm... I had a lucid dream, once. I was mid-dream, then suddenly I understood that I was in a dream. Obviously, you understand what my first thought was. Upon my failure to create/teleport anyone by me, it was just me, standing in a white room.
Then I said "fuck it" and just continued to watch my dream (which is kinda better, than standing in a room with full-bright on).

I never remember any of my dreams.
I've had a few falling dreams where I hit the ground, I've been shot to death, and one time I was attacked by a bear while taking a piss.
The Human mind is truly fucked up heres a reccuing dream ive been having for a while.
No one can see or hear me and am attending my own funeral. Several friends and a shitton of unknown people are there several of them in military uniforms. Im being burned on a funeral pyre and I always wake up right when an old man tells me a creepy message
most recently it was something like "yours is a truly interesting fate"
Its not that weird the weird thing is that ive had it about fifty times. no exageration ever since I was 15 I had this dream every month or so
Alright, I had a dream I was a MetroCop, I was sent to investigate strange happenings inside a shanty town that was being used as a station called Station 16. I had my USP Match out, walking around. All the sudden I see this corridor with blood. The door at the end is being pounded by citizens, they were screaming: "HELP US! THE CPs, TH-TH-THEY ARE ZOMBIES!" the door then busts open, and I see about 5 metrocops with headcrabs on them. I fire my weapon when I realize there is one right behind me.
I woke up.
I once had a dream that I was juggling flame'ing chainsaws dipped in acid. Why, well I thought it would be obvious like any weird dream. I was juggling them to get a really close shave of course.
Most, if not all my dreams, are starting to be completely lucid.
I don't have dreams anymore or I can't remember them.

one day i was dreaming that i was a chick.. i had some really nice boobs. i went to school returned and i found out i was pregnant. i started crying.. then my dog came up to me and said ''i told you to use rubber'' i cried even harder. i punched my dog so hard that he started to bleed out of his nose.. i ran away into a bush... i woke up and it turned out that my head was in my mom's vagina. i never slept again.
I once had a dream where i was flying :D then i realized i was in a dream and i couldnt fly anymore :(
I ALWAYS had nightmares when I was younger. I was scared to death everytime I went to bed.
Oh, and I hate it when you dream about something awesome, then wake up only to realise you were dreaming. I once dreamed that I won 5 million dollars, then I woke up.
