There's nothing wrong with acting like the popular kids to be friends with them. If they're popular they're probably popular for a reason (that they are likeable and friendly for example). By the end of highschool the idea of popularity is non-existant anyway.

I have the best three friends in the world. They are a grade above me, we hang out all the time after school, we all walk home the same way, and once, when I was being bullied and punched around by 6 guys after school, they came there and fought the bullies off and helped me get home. They would never betray me, and I feel good to know that their are people in the world that are of this kind of quality.

So I just slapped her, because I couldn't take any more of it. I got beat up after school, but I didn't hesitate to do it again, because she didn't stop after that. Some people will just choose a person to hold a grudge at, for no particular reason. It's like they don't like your face or something.
