Now that I no longer interact with other people, my mood has significantly improved actually.
It helps that adults are worlds more mature than teenagers & children. Maybe one day I'll open up again, but bullying damaged my soul & I just can't trust anyone.
In general, middle- & high-school are a bitch to get through. Even the popular kids seem unhappy. I blame hormones & the need to 'fit in.'

A girl wouldn't hesitate to pull your hair or use a locker lock as a weapon, and it is rather hard to get someone to help you when a girl is fighting you (if you're innocent).
Really man, they aren't your friend if they will ditch you like that. I would rather spend time looking for good friends then not spending any time and get a shitty friend.

I've been through something like you've been through, OP, but my time was very temporary and mostly my own fault for not standing up for myself. It seems like there is very little you can do here, though, except wait for a while. Being a good person is tough, but remember that it doesn't mean being a pushover, and that you [I]can[/I] retaliate if you have the opportunity.

I've got like, 10 people who are split down the middle and hate each other who I like. Gets real fuckin' hard to balance it.
Also my best friend stopped talking to me because he had no backbone and his girlfriend told him to because I wouldn't let her borrow a marijuana pipe.
I've got shit friends but I live in a shit place, so why should I be surprised?

He and I are "friends" again and we talk, but I'm never going to consider him close again.
After that, I kinda came to the realization that I gotta really know a person better and I have to be more outgoing if I want more friends.
Killed a friendship, but I got back tenfold since I started being more outgoing.

This thread makes me appreciate I have extremely loyal friends, even after we fist fight with each other. We are a group of five (it was at once 3, then it became 4,5, 6 , and now it's five again) and we usually manage to help each other in situations. Man, I remember this one time me, 3 of my boys, and my other boy who wanted revenge on a sort of acquaintance of one of us. Well, 3 of us were originally from the same town, which sometimes required fighting to prove disputes, and the other two moved. The other two guys were from those really white towns with all those skater kids and wannabees (yet they were nothing like that).
Anyway, one of the guys who used to live in my town moved into one of those extremely white towns, but he never changed. And he sort of made friends (in the lowest way you can acknowledge someone as a friend) with some pussy ass bitch who stuck his ass in the nose of one of our boys at a water park. Being passively vindictive, my friend waited years to get revenge. Years later, we ended up in a situation where we were all together in that town with that kid. So my friend stops him while the kid tries to skate by and and punches him right in the cheekbone. Then the kids flops over to one of those yellow poles in parking lots and my boy busts him the chest again. It was incredibly funny, and our band of five stuck close, because we were behind a Wallgreens (skater kids in that town tend to hang out back there for some reason, and there were around 20-30 of them armed with skateboards, although I doubt most would use them) and a group of 30 has an obvious advantage over one with 5.
Even though this kid wasn't liked very well in that area, the opposing group saw fit to try to pressure the "outsiders", outsiders being us. We didn't really have the option to fight at this point, only to move back from the alleyway towards the parking lot, which would give us a better chance. As we got closer to the front, we decided that the one who punched the kid and another one of us would go inside the Wallgreens, while the rest stayed outside to nonchalantly prevent anyone from that group from coming in. What we didn't realize is that the same kid pussied out and called the cops instead of coming after us.
They were escorted out by the staff of the store, and both groups and the cops met out front. The cop went to talk to the friend who punched the kid, with the friend who lived in the town's older brother. Anyway, the cop does his regular angry rant while the two groups are stuck next to each other. I couldn't help smirking at the situation because I couldn't believe it would end like this. So I'm against a pillar, just waiting, and the kid who got punched comes up to me. Now just to stop for a second, I feel a description of his current state was necessary. He had a bruised cheek, his face was that of a someone who was crying (including some tear stains and a very red, strained face). I instantly felt like laughing because of the weird ass face he was giving me, but I realized that I should hold it in, because his ape of a dad was close enough to see my face.
So the kid says to me in some begging voice, "Why did he do it?! What did I ever do to him?"
I stand up, look him square in the face and say "Apparently, you had it coming."
He cries out "How?!"
"He said you put your ass in his face."
He stiffens his posture and says "I don't remember anything like that."
Both of us just idly chat about this for a few moments until my boy comes back and told to leave the premises with us. We essentially walk away scot-free and head back to one of our houses to chill. Man those were good times. Really makes me appreciate who I can trust.

Next time someone pisses you off, go up to them, grab them by the stomach, flip them over hitting their head on the ground. If they get back up, poke them with your index and middle fingers as hard as you can between their armpit and nipple area. Then punch them in the face. Repeat as many times as needed, and be fast before they fight back. Or if you want to kill them, a poke is needed right above the collar bone and beneath the Adam's Apple.

Deal with it, that is life people are unpredictable and for the most part don't care if you are their friend, if it benefits them they will do it.
