Or maybe I was hinting at one of your threads. You are one of the people the thread is aimed at.
Alright which one was it. I'll prove you wrong
I agree :). Dropouts are idiots.
Dropouts aren't inherently idiotic. There are many different reasons for somebody to drop out, some of which are valid. Don't confuse every high-school dropout for some lazy asshole.
I agree :). Dropouts are idiots. Or maybe I was hinting at one of your threads. You are one of the people the thread is aimed at. Who says I'm hating on anyone? Do you not understand the point of the thread. This is aimed towards young population - who have not yet developed their own unique vision of the world. Also, I don't need to wake up, you just need to go back to sleep ;). I don't think I'm better than anyone, again, as stated in the first post. What are you so butthurt for?
Also, This is yet another Generic rant towards younger people. 1. Deal with it - Its the Internet 2. Your getting on the Hater bandwagon :bandwagon:
Rant towards older population of facepunch: We're all children at heart and everyone is young at some point don't think you're better than them just because your posts don't always suck.
So you hate us whether we're religious or not? Everyone has different reasons for their beliefs, not every christian just did it because their parents do, not every athiest is just bandwagoning. Here's a news flash for you; you need to wake the fuck up and realise you're not some high and mighty being who's better than the rest of facepunch.
I'm pretty sure he's just saying that the ones that have to tell every possible person of their religious beliefs are the ones that are bandwagoning/stupid.
You can choose who you fuck and who you marry but you can't choose human attraction and instinct
You can choose who you're attracted to. Hyper-masculine men just suppress their homosexual feelings because that's how they were taught.

I don't think I'm better than anyone, again, as stated in the first post. What are you so butthurt for?
Yes, there are idiots who need to get a bit of sense talked into them, in that sense I agree, but you just seem to be taking a very "you're all idiots except me" approach to it.
4) You will not be rich and famous when you grow up. Yes, we all have our dreams, we all think that we're meant for something, but there comes a time when you understand that nothing is gonna appear magically. You will work your entire life, probably marry an average girl, have 2 ugly kids, and then die.
Lies. When I'm rich and famous I'm going to think back on this post and laugh.
2) Your solution to the climate change and/or world hunger/corruption/disease will not work. If you kids haven't even taken school level biology or chemistry (perhaps physics too), then you are most likely unaware of what the hell you're talking about. Please don't. There's a reason why people get PhDs and it's for the same reason that you're not in charge.
Just most people here haven't gotten past school level doesn't stop them from being intelligent in subjects. My mums a physics teacher, so I've ended up learning things that go beyond what I should be taught about. One of my friends has become really interested in politics, so he's taught himself how it works. Just because we aren't world leading scientists or leaders, doesn't mean we don't know about these things.
You may as well have just said that you hate gay people.
Not really, I was trying to prove the other point.

Just because you dropped out doesn't make you an idiot by default. Stop overgeneralizing. And while you might be too ignorant to notice, yelling to the younger population that they suck and they'll never be successful is fucking retarded and in vain.
3) You are not actually any more intelligent than your peers.
:irony:
So you hate us whether we're religious or not? I think he's saying don't preach your religion, or lack thereof, because nobody cares.
Please work on your grammar before posting a thread. If you're attempting to imagine yourself as a guru of some sort by spreading your glorious ideas of maturity, please spell the thread title correctly. It is really detrimental to your superiority complex, that was self-evidenced throughout your rant. I'm not saying I'm superior, however I don't go around creating threads telling others what to think or do in their own lives. There is no way you can change people, and in order to be truly mature you must understand that fact. A simple thread full of advice that has been repeated numerous times by numerous people is not going to change or have an effect on the demographic you are trying to reach. It's futile, they can only change themselves.
Yes, there are idiots who need to get a bit of sense talked into them, in that sense I agree, but you just seem to be taking a very "you're all idiots except me" approach to it.
You perceive it the wrong way. Perhaps I've pointed out something that goes against your beliefs.

It's OK to voice what you believe in, but once you start praising it like it's the best system to believe in, then you need to stop.
You can choose who you're attracted to. Hyper-masculine men just suppress their homosexual feelings because that's how they were taught.
I can't control MY sexual fetishes, so why should anybody else be able to? I've tried, and I am completely disgusted by blondes.
young adult angst , also you're kinda dumb have a box
Who says I'm hating on anyone? Do you not understand the point of the thread.
3) You are not actually any more intelligent than your peers. They just don't give a shit. I used to think I was more intelligent, but then I found out that everyone thinks that way. A lot of kids act dumb despite being brilliant because they have to fit in with the lowest common denominator - to avoid being in a clique of nerds/geeks - generally negatively viewed stereotypes. If you were truly more intelligent, you'd be able to demonstrate it somehow, until then, you are just an idiot.
I somewhat disagree with this one. Anyone who chooses to not care about intelligence, and try to blend in and rather "be cool" then try to do good in school, are idiots. It's so much easier to see that intelligence is more important than ending in some group of people that you dislike.
Just most people here haven't gotten past school level doesn't stop them from being intelligent in subjects. But it is only later that you realize that things work differently. It is only life experience that matters
You perceive it the wrong way. Perhaps I've pointed out something that goes against your beliefs.
Not at all, in fact I agree with most, if not all of the points you made, I'm just saying there's no need to be so blunt and rude about it.
Untrue. There is a big difference between knowledge and wisdom. Granted someone with a PhD knows more than you, but that doesn't mean they can solve problems any better than you.
8) Homosexuality is not a choice. I see this one a lot. If you could be born "normal" and not be hated, not be judged and live in accordance with everyone views, why would you choose to be "abnormal" and be hated, hide your sexuality, be depressed about it, be on the verge of suicide and be afraid to expose yourself? Perhaps it's a disease, but what does it matter? It does not affect the person's functionality and as far as I'm concerned he's just as capable of being a productive member of society as you are.
http://www.facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=470935 Just wanted to leave this here, too. You made a thread about homosexuality being a choice...

All I'm stating is that none of us are marginally better than another. I don't tell anybody what to do, but I do tell them what others think when they do what they want. Perhaps you cannot change a person, but to provide a warning is a good idea. A person can only change themselves out of need. If there's no need to change, then why change?
ITT: OP is a disgruntled 15 year old mad at the world so he wants to override everyone else's thoughts and dreams. OP, you actually broke a few of your own rules by making this thread.

You don't need a PhD to be intelligent. Anyone who believes otherwise is ignorant.
