fuck shit up
Fuck shit up, okay we have the game name, now we just need a paper thin story, and a wide selection of weapons, most of which will not be useful, and a hot bitch to put on the cover. I'll start the email.
This is going to be a hit, I can feel it.
I concur that a redwood Facepunch logo table with glass top is required. Or at least... recommended. And high-backed office chairs because they are literally the most comfortable thing ever. I use my computer from an armchair but I'd rather have a high-backed office chair, even if it was vinyl.
But the table first. After all, round table discussion is good. And you can't have round table discussions without a round table. It'd also make a nice centerpiece to the whole place, although it would probably take a lot of space. But shit damn, you have a lot of space. Do it.
Needs a stripper pole in the middle of your main conference table.
that's quite a sexy office
can you pay for my plane ticket to get there and then i'll just stand in it for £10 an hour
But men do have nipples?
exactly, what are they for? I hope they remove them in the next version of GUniverse.
If you give me a plane ticket I'll go over there and setup a network over there for the building if you need one.
I'll come visit one day.
Garry, you should be receiving a surprising shipment of about ~10,000+ cardboard boxes soon.
I have officially spammed the office to death.
Edit: Fuck... You can use those boxes when your company fails and you have to move out can't you..?
Damn my plan failed.
To be honest Garry, unless you are working on a project that is large and will make you another 450,000 USD again just as Garry's Mod did, this is completely pointless. You should have just saved your money, bought a car, earned bank interest, gotten a job with another company. Actually, I'm sure another company would accept you as an employee and you would make much more money.
Have you read anything garry posted in this thread? You are a complete and total idiot.
How much were all the Dells
Was it cheaper to buy them all like that ?
Dell actually have decent discounts, if you buy a large number of their computers as a company.

Garry's new Game - The beginning
can we go on tours of your office?
So what are you guys planning to do? Update GMod? Make a standalone version of GMod and market it with Valve's permission? Make new physics games? Facewound?
What exactly is the objective of this company?
Wait, so like, you're going to make GAMES?! As in, the likes of Facewound and Gmod?!

To j-richardson and everyone else asking about the Dells. Ever take a closer look and notice that they're all monitor boxes. The only thing he got from Dell were monitors.

Make a hemisphere of monitors.
And live inside of it.

I'm assuming they're work on more games like Facewound and continue to update Garry's Mod. I know with every Source Engine update Garry's Mod gets a load of new features (as long as Garry implements them), which keeps it fresh and the money continues to flow.
What people in this thread seem to be forgetting is garry has a direct line to Valve and Steam. He doesn't have to try to get their attention with games that he's working on. Since he has access to this kind of venue he and his employees can work and update their games without trying to attract a publisher and pay for distribution. He's got his foot in the door with Steam, now he just needs to get to work developing more games.
The purchase of the studio and the office environment are just ways of mentally making yourself want to work. I know for a fact when I'm at home trying to work on a class project, that Xbox and the TV start to look mighty interesting. In class, I'm in a difference environment, a working one. This is what the studio environment does. It works to serve as a place where you can have fun, but get down and get some serious work done.
I wish you luck in your future endeavors, Garry.
Hey, garry you should start making Episode 3, I bet you could get it finished before Gabe.
Badass

I think garry knows how to setup his own network
You guys aren't going to get anything done except Pro Chair Races.
Do you know what you're gonna eat on your lunch break?
I think garry knows how to setup his own network
Puh-leaze. Garry couldn't set up a network, he couldn't even create his own videogame! He had to mod one, remember?
Also Garry, remember to buy a microwave and tons of hot chocolate packages for the office.
What do you even do there?
Shoot each other with marshmallow cannons?
I think garry knows how to setup his own network
Does he know how to configure a managed switch, Cisco router, or setup a VLSM network?
