Just because you have a profession doesn't mean you're perfect. Questions extend your own knowledge and might help others find new ways as well? The mechanic might just have a better and more effective idea when i make him think. Why are you taking this all so seriously? I've been asking garry about his business and he answered. Oh and why would you dislike him for going commerical, people have to make money.
