Not around. Keep in mind when the Hawks were shit, it seemed the games were hardly televised around here and quite frankly, they took a backseat to the other Chicago teams. Also let us not forget about the strike a few years back.
Like any winning team, there will be bandwagon fans. I just started watching hockey last year, and I'm still learning, but I [I]enjoy[/I] watching it. That's the point. There is a difference between bandwagon fans and new fans. I consider myself the latter as I have no intention of abandoning the Blackhawks.

The two teams in which I have little to no interest in make it to the finals. But I wanted the Flyers to lose just so I could laugh at a guy at work, so I guess it all worked out.
Blackhawks deserved to win, they haven't won in so fucking long.
