Thanks btw :h:
Chili:
buy a can of chili beans, these are amazing preflavoured beans in a nice chili sauce.
Add some meat, cheese, various spices (garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne, depending on what you lke)
eat with ritz crackers.
If you're vegetarian or vegan you can easily do something similar:
use a few TBSP of TVP, nutritional yeast (or cheese), and spices. Tastes great.

That looks really good. I'm going to try it.

Obviously very easy. Stick some meat and veggies on it, put some spices on, feel free to add cheese for the grill and put it on the barbecue.
Or you can put the meat in some sauce for a couple of hours and get a better or interesting taste.

Heck yeah fried Ramen is the best. I rarely eat it in liquid.
I cook a bit, so does an hour work as a short amount of time?
2 slices of bread cheese on both sides 20 seconds in microwave bing bang boom filling, fat content, and no use of plates or anything at all.
Put some pasta on the stove to cook. While that's doing its thing, cook some shrimp in butter, and make up whatever sauce you like. Mix all three together and it's divine. I use angel hair pasta and Alfredo sauce.
Bacon. You don't need anything else. Maybe some brown sauce bread and butter but thats if you want it.
Egg Nests.
Ingredients:
2 eggs
2 slices of bread
-Cut circle out of bread slices with cup
-Melt butter in hot frying pan
-Place bread slices sans middle in pan
-Break egg into each hole. Season with JUST some salt.
-Cook until bread is golden brown and egg is cooked with a slightly soft yolk
Fucking enjoy that shit
Scones are piss-easy to make.
My favorite breakfast is scrambled eggs with Italian-style breadcrumbs and cheese mixed in. Remember to add plenty of butter to the pan before adding the eggs. A pat or two is plenty.

Here's something really fucking easy.
Lemonade
3/4 cup sugar
1/3 cup lemon juice
750ml water
Makes 750ml of lemonade
Pour water into pot, before it starts to simmer for 10 minutes, add lemon juice and sugar. Stir.
Gently bring to boil, as soon as it starts to boil, take it off the heat right away. Stop stiring, let the lemonade cool down. In the fridge for a few hours.
Drink.
Why tell you when I can show you?

Pizza!
- Pizza bread from your local grocery store
- A fresh block of some mozzarella
- Some fresh basil
- PIZZA sauce from a can
- And some olive oil
Take your pizza bread and cover the bottom of it in olive oil to keep it from sticking to the pan. Evenly disperse a few spoonfuls of pizza sauce on it evenly. Slice your mozzarella into slabs and spread accordingly on top of the sauce. Soak some basil in olive oil for a min or so then place the small shreds on top of the mozzarella.

that was delicirous
a cup size circle... i assume?
a cup size circle... i assume?
all the glasses i had were too big the first time i tried and the whole egg didnt even fill up the hole in the bread, so i had to make the hole differently
Use 2 eggs per hole. Add a bit of cheese, it makes it only tastier. You can also add the piece of bread you cut out. It's like toast, only REAL.
[editline]5th July 2011[/editline]
Also, add a little bit of milk.
185g of butter
3tbsp lemon or lime juice
1 onion, chopped
garlic or garlic powder (optional)
1tsp sugar
750g of scallops
melt the butter in a pot, throw the onions in there until they get soft and translucent. Remove from heat, mix in the sugar, garlic, lemon or lime juice and give it a good stir and toss in the scallops. Take out the scallops and skewer them, throw them on the bbq (or grill, whatever really) for ~3 mins a side. You can boil the remaining butter mixture and reduce it a bit to use as a sauce if you want. I had it tonight, it was good.
I guess you wouldn't normally have scallops laying around in your fridge though, so it's not exactly "minimal resources," but it's really quick and tasty.
Egg n' Rye food pancakes
This is a pancake/omelet recipe I made up when I was on my diet. It takes no time, tastes pretty good and you basically have a template you can add anything to. (Much like an omelet)
The basic recipe for one serving goes as such:
2 eggs
½ cup of rye flour
salt and pepper as you desire
Milk or water until you get a consistency you like (think pancake)
How to:
Mix it all up, preheat a small pan and pour your mix into it. You don't necessarily need to add oil or butter because the eggs should keep the mix from sticking. when the majority of the top part of the pancake seems settled, flip it and check after half a minute. Just get a nice golden color without making the pancake seem too crusty.
I recommend you eat it along with something else as egg and rye both have a tendency to be really heavy in the stomach.
Things you can add to the mix:
Red onions
Tomatoes
Bacon
Cheese
A variety of spices
- Anything you'd like in there can pretty much go. Just remember to slice and cut it into small bits so it fits into the pancake.
Bonus:
If you dare to, you could try and scrap the salt and pepper and add some sugar or sweetener instead. Eat it with some fruit or icecream and let's see what happens.
Restaurant style flair in 20 minutes or less:
Courgette pasta, tomato sauce (also fastest tomato sauce you can make that tastes awesomely fresh)
Ingredients:
Garlic, one clove
some dried italian herb seasoning
olive oil
Some regular size tomatoes, four or so will do
Butter
Courgette/Zucchini
Heat up some oil in a saucepan and throw in finely chopped garlic clove. stir about for a minute or so then add the dried herbs. Stir for another minute or so (don't let the dried herbs blacken) and add in the four or five tomatoes, cut into quarters. This will make shit spatter everywhere and look messy but stick with it and keep the heat high, cook them like you're frying tomatoes, then use a potato masher to mash everything down to a sauce. Turn down the heat and mix in a knob of butter. This is the best tomato sauce you can make and easy as hell too (I do this for pizza sauce and it works just as well, can even add red wine if you wanna be fancy). Just gotta keep working it.
Grab your courgette and using a veg peeler peel down the length of it, rotating each time until you end up with a pile of thin floppy slices of courgette on one side of your chopping board and the seedy core of the courgette on the other. Throw away the seedy bit, heat up some olive oil and a knob of butter on medium heat in a frying pan, lightly sautee the long floppy peelings.. you don't want to cook them too much, just so their colour's a bit more vibrant and they loose so much of the hard bite (still want them a bit al dente though)
Mix the courgette in with the tomato (be gentle, don't wanna smash the courgette slices apart) and that's it, bloooody delicious, looks amazing and it's really quick.
Milk + Frosted Flakes
Minute meals ftw
Ham sandwich
All you need is Ham and bread and you should know how to put it together.
