Begotten. If you like this style of movie. It's an art film with a very interesting style. No dialogue, no soundtrack, and done completely in a very gritty black and white, as in no middle tones.

Actually, regarding George Romero, I don't remember his movie Martin being so great.
I only recall his zombie films which are regarded as classics
