Now I wanna watch Blade Runner again, it's just so awesome.
I'm doing Skrzynecki for belonging, thankfully Blade Runner (though +Frankenstein ugh) for Mod A.
Well I don't really like English the subject in general, too bad my school only offers English Advanced, Ext 1 & Ext 2.
belonging?
Basically blksljakfsdslfj belonging slfjdlfjklsdfdsf not belonging sdljfklsdfjsd group sdljsldfj how belonging is ironic because lsjdklfsdf if you don't belong you belong to some other group lsdjxx,m,n,dfg.b
I did Skrzynecki as well.
For school, i mean. Some of my friends told me its an option at Uni, but meh.
My internet was spazzing before, anyone see those messages on TV telling a few suburbs to evac because of rapidly rising flood waters.
We did Romulus, My Father. It was okay. The subject itself is shit though, belonging is the worst.
That said, we did Blade Runner as a study and that was the best subject ever.
Romulus + Snow falling on cedars

Fuck that was annoying.
Tonight I decided that if in future I ever have to get off a train late at night in a shady area (like Footscray) I'm simply gonna BOLT out of the train with my hands thrown out to my side screaming, "ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Seems like the logical thing to do.
Or join in and pull your hoodie up, hands in pockets and slyly walk out.
Or join in and pull your hoodie up, hands in pockets and slyly walk out.
Removing precious peripheral vision?! No thanks. I'll just charge out of the train station screaming my war cry at the top of my lungs.
I did belonging for Year 11 here in NSW, currently doing... fuck can't remember. I'm so going to fail English in my HSC this year..
What the fuck is up with the ominous as hell music that plays in Melbourne Central late at night? It's sorta creepy and eerie when you're walking under a HUGE glass dome that towers like 200 metres over your head, it's REALLY dark, there's like 7 other people around, and NO shops are open... but also cool at the same time.

If you're in NSW, I thought you HAD to do change in year 11 and Belonging in year 12?
Isn't it standardized?
I did Journeys in Year 11, and Belonging in Year 12.

your school chooses the books from a standardised curriculum, it doesn't mean you have to study the same stuff
Don't you just love it when the lads have a huge fight and end the party abruptly...
Unrelated but cuts and shit all over my hand

Books from the Area of study, which is standardized. The Area of study for this HSC group is belonging
That still doesn't explain how he did it in year 11.
Ohhh man the cool weather here in Sydney now is so nice compared to last night
Rained today.
But fuck, the humidity is deadly.
Any fellow NSW Year 12ers here?
If so all I have to say is belonging asldjfskljfsdhgjgdkfg,xn,bcvbml :suicide:
Hahaha.
Oh my god.
I am SO happy I'm DONE with belonging FOREVER.
Man, that was the worst.
Have fun :3:
I did Romulus, My father for my text and Tarzan and something else for my related texts.
I'm so happy that I can forget.
I really enjoyed the Shakespeare unit. Hamlet is my absolute favourite.
Then for Texts in Time, we did Frankenstein and Blade Runner.
Those were really good too.
Got a band 6 for Eng in the HSC and the Trials :3:

How do you get good marks in it? I've been working my ass off, but got 8/20 in my first assessment...

Well, I did ext1 and ext2 English as well, so that gave me a little edge. Having a unique writing style really pays off.
But all you have to do is practice essays. Practice your writing, structuring your responses, use lots of evidence from the text and explain how it's relevant and choose your related texts very, very carefully.

Well my school gave our year an informal assessment involving 5 essays each on a different related text (of our choosing) most likely to introduce us to related texts. What sorts of related texts should I be looking at?
Is it true that Australia is like Texas, minus the guns, women and trucks, but with alot of sheep?
