Bring giant SLRs and act like tourists.
Yeah, sting ray.

meetup at robe let's do it
So you are coming here for a holiday? Awesome.
I doubt my family could afford an overseas holiday, unless we win the lotto.
Well, that's the plan at least. Everyone is contributing, because it's god damn expensive. We've been to New York three times as well, but at least we already knew someone living there, so we only had to pay for the plane-tickets.
Edit:
Holy Jesus! Even more than I thought. 108 000 NOK/18 572 AUD all in all.
Holy shit that's a lot.
I'm so excited for University to start.
Even though first year Law is a pain in the ass.
Campus life and the Unibar :3:
What are the best places to visit for 3-4 weeks if you want to stay near the coast(and possibly the reef)? Oh, and not too expensive.
Maybe you should put off this holiday for a while, where you want to go is pretty fucked at the moment

Yeah for that much I would wait until the coast is pretty again

It's not going to be this year though. Summer of 2012.

Our summer or your summer?

I'm going to love uni, 8 1/2 hours a week and my uni is only 2 train stops away.
Our summer or your summer?
My summer. As in June/July/August next year.
My summer. As in June/July/August next year.
It's going to be pretty cold around then. Well I guess since where you are from is cold all the time it won't be so bad. Generally get 12°C days in winter so might be just like home.
Reckon there will be an Australia Thread v2?
Pretty far away though.

My time table looks fucking hectic.

I had to make it in paint with the info I've got because they've not actually released the actual time table yet or let us edit it (have to wake up at 6AM on the 17th to edit my time table). Some of it is going to HAVE to change as well because there's like two or so different lectures or tutorials or something that I have to do which CONFLICT with some of the compulsory lecture times.
Watching Kenny, Shane Jacobson is awesome.
What the hell costs $18572?

Your timetable is fucking terrible. Fucking. Terrible.
Not the paintjob, the actual timetable. Fucking Terrible.
Like I said, it will HAVE to change. There's two classes (I think) that I didn't put on my time table because they were overlapping with two of the compulsory ones. They're gonna have to change something.
It's not too bad for me, though. Means I can drive into the city with dad in the morning and cycle to uni. And, if lectures finish late enough (like Tuesday) I can also get a lift home. If not I'll train it to Laverton and cycle back to Point Cook from there.
I have conflicts in my timetable too. It's normal though.
All for a Melbourne meet up.
I REALLY don't like the choice I have to make for Wednesdays, though.

Deakin, Waurn Ponds.
[editline]8th February 2011[/editline]
Ok, it doesn't show the 15 hours or so I've gotta work on my project. I'll still be busy.
Deakin, Waurn Ponds.
MBIT / Deakin, same uni
MBIT / Deakin, same uni
I'm doing a full Bachelor of Engineering, it ain't MIBT.

MBIT is a uni owned and operated by Deakin.
It's like if i said i went to ormond - it means i went to melbourne.

Yeah, but my course ain't an MIBT course. It's an actual Bachelor's degree as opposed to a Diploma.
fair call
I have a friend who is doing a course at MIBT. When he said he was going to Deakin uni I was surprised due to his ATAR but then he said he was doing a MIBT course I was like understandable more than you getting into uni. Only a bit mean to him.
