Was at a LAN party last week, which turned into a drunk party instead. Everyone but me were wasted, and I literally had to be the babysitter. They were rolling around on the floor, spilling liquid all over the place. One guy even fell off his chair and landed on his newly built PC(which luckily survived). Anyways, it ended with me having to drag one of them home(only lived 5 minutes away from the host). On the way, he threw off his shoes, and walked barefoot on the ice. I then had to knock on the door at 2 AM to wake his father up, then he had to put him to bed.
When I got back, the host had sprayed his hair green while carrying around his airsoft, aiming at the drunk guests. I had to follow him down to his room, where he ended up falling asleep on the floor. So I walked back up, asked the others to go to bed, and they all acted like little kids. "Buuut I doon't waaaant too!". Eventually it worked and I headed home(live close by, and I felt like sleeping in my bed instead of a couch.

I always hear about Australian internet being shit. Is this true? Heard MMO's tend to be a problem, because the lack of servers. But there must be some good internet providers?

TPG is the best we can get, in some areas you can get unlimited ADSL2+ Broadband. But we haven't moved onto optics until the national broadband network is finished.
Its pretty shit. And the lack of decent servers is shit too. Only the big commercial games built for multiplayer really get servers. The only server company that promotes popular mods is 3FL.
3FL is owned by iinet so I get a real good connection to them.
Also this is public servers that no-one really owns other than the telecommunications network hosting it. Not sure if they have those overseas, haven't seen any ones in the US.

That's the one my family bought, they don't download/torrent/youtube/watch anything online so they don't really care about having massive amounts of net.

IIRC ~$150 a month for the home phone + the internet
It's always more expensive in the country. You can get cheap as shit ADSL2 in the centre of Melbourne but go a couple hundred km away and you pay a fuckload for something worse. At least my dad uses the internet just as much as me and is absolutely furious when we get capped so he pays for good stuff.

Well I wouldn't use that much, just get some movies to keep me interested over weekends and that's all.
Youtube some movies, watch some online. That's it, how can you need 100 gigs
You download movies, I download things off Steam. Plus the updates usually use a ton.
Other than that, youtube uses a lot more than most people expect.
