I was 17 for the first half year of Uni. Enjoy being underage and sitting at home while everyone else goes out.
Passing the test does not make you good enough for the road, forging that log book means you've lost necessary experience as a learner, thank christ I dont live in NSW.
Ouch, my ego.
I had my L's for a year and drove pretty much every day, I just couldn't be bothered to write it all down and had to forge the rest the night before.
Oh, god. Pagequeen.
I was 17 for the first half year of Uni. Enjoy being underage and sitting at home while everyone else goes out.
I'm 18 and will probably end up at home most times as I have to drive every morning. Whether it be uni or work related.
Is the public transport that bad?
in Melbourne, yes.
My uni is in Geelong. So taking 2 different buses and a train is more hassle and just driving.
in Melbourne, yes.
ahh, no it's not...
i've just come back from being overseas, traveling on my own (without a car)... our PT is fucking shit.
I have to agree
[editline]19th February 2011[/editline]
I live in a PT deadspot
cityrail is fucking awful
ahh, no it's not...

I've done plenty of travelling and I reckon Melbourne's the best for the metropolitan area anyway.
I also live where there is no PT (beyond the end of the Frankston line bro) and even though I spend most of my time driving I can still say PT here beats any other state.
we have it so good and people just have no idea.
myki is a bit of a joke, but the govt.'s to blame for that
sure, we're no switzerland or japan when it comes to trains, but we have the largest tram network in the world (which is almost free when you think about it) and our trains are dirt cheap
melbourne is an anomaly when it comes to traffic congestion, PT is the fastest way to move long distances in peak hour
Were higher up the list of worst traffic congestion than New York and Las Vegas I do believe.
