I'm cool with staying here, just wondered what everyone else though :v:
All of those subforums were used.
Places like language discussion were never used, i think its better that its all been streamlined.
Areas, like RPWL and Drug Discussion obviously were used, but there was unnecessary waste.
[editline]24th February 2011[/editline]
each to their own though.
So the next thread will have to be be in "chat threads", right? Because of the new changes?
I do have boots, but it's too hot to wear it out.
70% of my boots have heels though.
My mom gave me an inferiority complex about my height since an early age.

Tall girls are unattractive to be honest. You aren't missing anything
I'll make a chat thread right now if you guys want.

Keep this thread going until it closes. Should be ok until then.
i had a mock up for the next thread, so if you want to chuck it up into chat threads when this one expires instead of GD

It doesn't matter what we want, the new rules tell us what to do

Big W
I was taking a bra (coincidence) to the changing room desk for an apparel girl to put away, and a customer walked backwards out of a cubicle, and tripped, all while taking off another bra that she was trying on.
I helped her up and awkwardly shuffled off without a word, I nearly pissed myself laughing at myself afterwards though
-snip-
I wish there were things on at actually I probably would go to them anyway.
I should just impose my presence on my friends, that'd be fun.
Also.
Girls go through a lot of pain to where heels.
I mean, it's freaking uncomfortable after an hour.
And guys just don't appreciate it. Nooooo, it's expected now.
Edit; four glasses of wine later.
Went out one night with some guys wearing high heels I borrowed from my mum.
I now have scars on my heels from where the heels made blisters and took skin off from. And walking around Crown in Melbourne with no shoes on is frowned upon so I had to deal with the pain for the whole night until I was going home where I walked barefoot through the streets of Melbourne. Very safe of course with glass and needles anywhere waiting to get me.
In short, have learnt to avoid high heels as much as possible.

That is why I haven't worn high heels since that fateful day when I went just because I'ma girl doesn't mean that I have to wear these stupid things. Boyfriend also agreed as he didn't like seeing me hobbling around for a week after with no socks on and scabs forming on the back of my heels.

Docklands is pretty good, I've never seen anything dangerous on the footpath or in the grass.

The only bonus I can think of right now of being my height would be having to stand on my tippy-toes to kiss my boyfriend (unless I'm wearing heels).

The only reason I'm home this early (2AM) is because the heels I wore became unbearable painful.
They're 3 inch heels :saddowns:
But the O'Party was fun. Just had to leave early to go out to the clubs before all the other students did :3:

I was walking around Flinders St. station with bare feet.
Got on the train and went, my feet are black. And it took me 2 days to get them back to their normal colour. 2 days of scrubbing with soap.

Tall girls look really masculine and aren't too attractive though. Isn't that a positive to being your height?

Well, tall girls want to be short, short girls want to be tall. Girls with curly hair want straight hair, girls with straight hair want curly hair.
I'm fairly comfortable with my height. But it just sucks when I'm around my usual group of girls because I'm one of the tallest, whereas in my second group, I'm the shortest.
Weird politics.
anyone else in Melbourne doing political activism?
i've been absolujtely exhausted doing O-week and going to pro-north africa/middle east and anti-racism rallies.
Haha I've been telling all the activists trying to get me to sign a solidarity plea for the people of the Arab world that I'm a traditional believer in absolute monarchy and that being indoctrinated into their cause is offensive to me.

Love Advice was literally the best part of Facepunch. Garry closed it saying the chat thread was the only thing being used, but the chat thread and Maverick's help thread were the two main sources of help for everyone. I didn't visit the other custom forums because I'm not a druggie, trannie, furry or petrol head, but I can appreciate that they were a haven of discussion for those who visited.

Aw man I lost 300 posts with Love Advice. Gold Member without 2000 posts :(

I agree that Love Advice was very cool, but some of those havens had literally the smallest numbers, that a megathread in GD or the chat threads would have sufficed.
