You don't just join the forces to server or love your nation anyway. You join the forces because its something your interested about, and also maybe wanting to try and make a difference somewhere in the world.
Don't join the armed forces for any partiotic reason, that's stupid. Join because it's a decent life, something different, good pay and benefits, join for the job. If you join to "serve your country", you'll end up hating it. Join because it seems like a decent thing to do, it won't be so bad.

To be honest, I'm not sure, I physically capable to work in a combat position, but working in logisitcs would be just as interesting and rewarding.
The subjects im doing at uni right now, would be of good use somewhere like the ADF.
