Buses are better IMO
They still have metal poles on every seat, in the exact position a head would be in if there was a crash. Not to mention, they are used as school buses, and once they lost their brakes on a massive hill coming home from school.
Actually, how about a port where boats can go to legally. Put it in far north Qld or Wa Still illegal in their country, but allows them to get in
like i said boats can go to any where in australia legally anyway, there is no law against it. the term illegal immigrants was coined to spur up hatred and in turn viewing audiences by the media
You seen those boats? I don't want them to be sent back. I am for giving them better centers when they are caught. I am for putting money into getting the people who do it legally in quicker. It's not racism, its no respect for people who want to cheat the people who go through and do it properly. Instead of more border protection, lets build a big center to put them in and treat them right while they are processed, which gives people a better option than sitting in a crowded boat. And my problem is more than a cold. That's just a current thing. I'm fucked if I get the flu. Can we leave it at that, we won't get anywhere.
Who cheat the people who go through and do it properly? You know those people usually have money and can afford visas, plain tickets, immigration costs. Refugees are people with nothing. NOTHING. The clothes they wear and the things they carry makes up their livelihood. And you're right, we probably won't get anywhere because you have a superiority complex combined with selfish paranoia. Have fun living your immune-deficient life while refugees struggle to start a new life from scratch. [editline]21st October 2010[/editline]
Ah. I dont know anything bout QR. This is my station: [img_thumb]http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/478/tuggerah.png[/img_thumb] Boringest station on the line.
Is that Thirroul Station?
Its Tuggerah.
Its Tuggerah.
NO idea where that is. I guess most stations follow the same design.

Where is that?
Bout 1.5/2 hours north of Sydney.
I've probably gone through there then. And this is Thirroul station, two up from me and about 2 hours South of Sydney.
Shit they do like kind of alike. I really love Gosford Station, and our trainline runs right past Bluetongue Stadium and across a massive lake.
You are a failure as a teenager, and as an Australian. I know you came from a wanky school and all but even the kids I know at the most elite private schools have heard of and drink goon. Maybe you're too nerdy or something? Goons isn't just cheap alcohol, its like a running joke and big part of being a poor desperate to get pissed teenager.
nobody i know does this literally nobody yeah they buy cheap booze but not that cheap
nobody i know does this literally nobody yeah they buy cheap booze but not that cheap
Unrelated, but why does your avatar blink every so often?
Shit they do like kind of alike. We go through the most beautiful scenery; half the trainline on the way to Sydney has a view of the ocean, a quarter is through the forest and the rest is through the city.
I think ive been on it before. Unless im think of somewhere else. Ive been on a rail line that used Rail cars. They rattled and smelled, but were fucking awesome.
Boring baulkham hills district.
Oh yeh, we still have to meet up at your house. Still got those cookies we were promised?
I saw this advertisement that said: "Wollongong- the younger better looking sister of Sydney". It's funny because the my city, "The Gong", is heaps dero.
Uh I ate them :saddowns:
nobody i know does this literally nobody yeah they buy cheap booze but not that cheap
They should it costs $10 for 30 drinks and it doesn't taste bad at all (to me). It's good if you're broke or just want to supplement the alcohol supplies of a party you're hosting by throwing some orange juice in with it, a big bowl and some cups. goon snipe
I hate the Newcastle Line in the Hunter Valley in New South Wales (I live in the HV and the Newie Line as in the train line). Whenever I catch the train from Maitland to Newcastle it's just full of trash, at least for the later part. One station up the line is when they all get on, then on the 3rd stop after that the majority get off, but some stay on till Central. Also if you lot ever come to Australia, Maitland isn't the best place, full of trash. Actually just don't go to Metford or Gillieston Heights.
I saw this advertisement that said: "Wollongong- the younger better looking sister of Sydney". It's funny because the my city, "The Gong", is heaps dero.
well then it should say sluttier too
well then it should say sluttier too
Funny because it's true. All those slut Facebook groups started in Wollongong. I can't wait to get out of this hole. To the States :3:
Would you say that if you'd experienced the definition of "adequate" in this context personally?
I base my opinions on the words of an Afghani friend of mine who spent a year in Woomera after arriving from Afghanistan on a boat. He would have more reason to complain than anyone - yet, he feels such a process is completely acceptable, as it is necessary to check who deserves aid and who doesn't - in his own words, "if you're going to come to Australia like this, you can deal with it. It's not that big a deal."
No the point is that the detention centers should be less not jails and more like holding facilities. People are in these places for months and if they are genuine refugees I think they should get a bit of comfort while there. Also the concept of offshore detention centers of those in other countries is terrible because it increases costs tenfold all because of political spin. Its a fucking non issue, we should be focused on the 50'000~ british visa overstayers not the few thousand boat people who are largely legitimate.
If detention centres have unacceptable living conditions, they should be fixed - I agree. However, given the notion that they are ideally not permanent residences but temporary by-passes, I don't feel the urge to make them any fancier than is needed. No, being in the desert in a guarded, fenced camp isn't great fun - but, it can be accepted for now. Part of the reason why detention centres exist is because OF the issue of determining who is a "genuine refugee" - while they're often not the model of bureaucratic efficiency, I have no doubt that the entire process would be much simpler if it could be undoubtedly known that all who passed through deserved asylum. Unfortunately, this can't be known.
nobody i know does this literally nobody yeah they buy cheap booze but not that cheap
Well you are a minority
Can we give the asylum seekers a rest? YOu guys are all lucky, my train station is full of "Gangstas YO!"
