Firstly, I support easing restrictions and showing some compassion to these people. Secondly, even with the easing the checks for disease and pests would be so easily done it doesn't need mention (because it gets done with efficiency everytime you clear customs in Australia.). Thirdly at no point did I even come close to implying that we should allow people to skip the process.

Laws change in each state, but you're restricted to how many native animals you're allowed to kill each year.
