Polish bloke here, been here for almost 8 years. Y'know, some parts of NSW.. really aren't summer all year round. In Coledale, right on the side of an escarpment, just near Sydney, it's a freezing cold winter, and in under a weekend the temperature bumps up by about 20' Celsius and I sweat so much I can't get any bloody sleep. That continues for the next 6 months except for the odd freezing cold monsoon which seems to pop up after a really nice and warm sunny day.

I'm not lying through my teeth (read: fingers)

why would you get pissed off at kids asking for candy this is why i fucking hate teenagers, they think they're cool for hating kids. it's fucking dumb, how about be nice to kids and let them dress up and ask for candy if they want, you people who 'hate halloween' because of 'annoying kids' need to get the fuck over yourselves
I'm going backpacking in Australia next May for two months, we're starting and ending in Perth but plan to visit as much of the country as possible as well as going to NZ, any suggestions/tips for me?

How about this crazy weather? Thought it was going to flood yesterday, now it's hot and sunny. Jeeeeeez. Also, page king.
Melbourne must be the most spontaneous place on earth where weather is concerned
I love kids. They're adorable. I can't wait to have kids :3:
Same. Also, weather is pretty good here. Chilly and overcast on Saturday, Rained all day on Monday, and today looks sunny. I hate sunny days. I love it when it rains.
Really I hate it when it rains, too cold to go for a run/jog, nice day though so I might go.
Same.
Labor is going to hurt :saddowns:
I lack the parts to have labor. I still want kids eventually. Hopefully they wont be drunks like the rest of Australia apparently is.

The Birthday Party is Nick Cave's old band
I haven't heard of them, what do they play?
Crazy and unique post-punk. Nick Cave's and Rowland S Howard's first band.
They won't be Australians in that case Also what does everyone think is the best band to come out of Aus?
INXS, off the top of my head.
Back in Black, TnT, and Highway to Hell are the best to come out of ACDC IMO
Check out Cola Wars released debut album back in July. My guitar teacher plays bass.
