My friend show me pictures of it at around 6pm, and every where seems to closed down.
6Pm shit closes for the night Whats wrong with that, the employees get to go have dinner with their family.
I don't get it but why? So you have nothing to do when its dark?
only cities have 24 hour stuff really apart from mcdonalds
..there's a good ass? WHY DID NO-ONE TELL ME ABOUT THIS
I know right, you could have come out of the closet yeeeears ago.
im annoyed that my local servo always closes before midnight. sometimes i get home late and i want to buy some milk and its the closest store and its ALWAYS CLOSED AAA
It really depends what you are after on when it closes. If you want to buy normal stuff, it's about 6. If you want Supermarket stuff, it's close to midnight. If you want McDonalds or chips, cheese and gravy (Ballarat delicacy), you can get it around 3am easily.
The service station near the Astor in Prahan is open 24 hours, but the automatic doors have been changed so that the guy at the counter has to press a button to open it. All the times ive been there, people have either walked drunk straight into the door, or when its closing, getting themselves wedged in between the closing panels. It always brings a laugh.
They have the same system for the servo down the road, it's been robbed a few times so I guess it makes sense.
Huzzah the Aussie Dollar has made it past the $1 USD mark!
shops where I am close at 5:30pm. 9pm on thursdays. on sat and sun everything closes at 4pm. except for groceries and take away shops. so shopping on weekends is a real mission when you work night shift and have to sleep in.
why would you get pissed off at kids asking for candy this is why i fucking hate teenagers, they think they're cool for hating kids. it's fucking dumb, how about be nice to kids and let them dress up and ask for candy if they want, you people who 'hate halloween' because of 'annoying kids' need to get the fuck over yourselves
You hate teenagers because you think that they hate kids because they think its cool? No they probably just don't think that its their responsibility to give free lollies to other peoples children who are celebrating a foreign holiday. It's more stupid to hate teenagers for thinking people asking for shit off you for no reason is annoying. [editline]4th November 2010[/editline]
Heard from a couple of friends that you locals are pretty racist towards asians. So do you guys hate us asians? Whats your view?
depends whether you're speaking to people who went to school with asian kids in their class/are intelligent [editline]4th November 2010[/editline]
View YouTUBE video http://youtube.com/watch?v=A0u0Wjf4AYk Honourary Farking Australians right there
i love you
im annoyed that my local servo always closes before midnight. sometimes i get home late and i want to buy some milk and its the closest store and its ALWAYS CLOSED AAA
My local servo got turned into a 7-eleven just in time for 7/11 day next week. Fuck yearrrrr.
Huzzah the Aussie Dollar has made it past the $1 USD mark!
possibly because they printed out 600 billion dollars
My local servo got turned into a 7-eleven just in time for 7/11 day next week. Fuck yearrrrr.
Hahaha, that cannot be good for business. And it's this Sunday.
Hahaha, that cannot be good for business. And it's this Sunday.
Oh cool, my perception of dates is fucked at the moment. The 7-eleven gave me a $5 voucher on the opening day for talking to them and gives free slurpees with petrol so I'm pretty much set for life.
Huzzah the Aussie Dollar has made it past the $1 USD mark!
Huzzah the banks have increased their interest rates, with the CBA doubling theirs! wait
Everyone on facepunch hates teenagers so it seems
i hate everyone
no don't be stupid it's nowhere near as bad because kids are allowed to have fun and trick or treat and shit they're not harming anyone and don't mean it maliciously like 'fuck these dumb cunts we're gonna con them into giving us free lollies for a holiday we don't even celebrate', however a lot of teens who have some superiority complex decide that 'fuck those dumb kids for celebrating a dumb holiday they're not getting any lollies and it annoys the hell out of me when they ask for some' that is DUMB and evidently you're part of the group that get pissed off because people are celebrating a holiday that didn't originate (and has little to do with) our country. doesn't mean you should get annoyed by the kids who are having fun celebrating it. halloween is fun, dressing up is fun, getting lollies is fun. i normally celebrate halloween because it's an excuse to dress up and drink to the occasion, why in all balls would you feel the need to assert yourself over CHILDREN who don't even understand why it's not widely celebrated here, they love dressing up and doing something fun and out of the norm just as much as everybody else stuck up teen cunts. i don't hate all teens, i'm not doing the same thing they do to kids, i just hate the ones that hate kids, because they're a few years older and suddenly so much better than them for some reason? it's like they forget that very recently they were kids and probably did go trick or treating at one stage. [editline]4th November 2010[/editline] i wrote lots of words just now
Anyone live in Campbelltown?
The AUD is better than the USD. Yet everything still is the same price as it was when it was .80USD to the AUD
Well, we've conquered the US dollar. Next stop: Euros
i hate everyone
well said
Huzzah the Aussie Dollar has made it past the $1 USD mark!
Can someone that understands economics please explain to me why this is good/bad and why?
Can someone that understands economics please explain to me why this is good/bad and why?
One of our dollars now exchanges for more than one of their dollars
Can someone that understands economics please explain to me why this is good/bad and why?
Our dollar buys more USD so importing things is cheaper. Their dollar buys less of the Australian dollar so people are less likely to sell things here. We get stuff cheaper but less people sell to us.
Can someone that understands economics please explain to me why this is good/bad and why?
our exports are devalued and our imports are cheaper, basically while I can buy a cheap PS3 a company who makes money on exporting aus goods to the usa lost about 20% of their profits in a year and that means WE'LL LOOSE JOBS!!!
