Again I can go to Torquay whenever I want with my mates. For me, Schoolies/Leavers is an exciting time, but not something I would remember forever and tell my kids, I think you're getting your hopes up on schoolies.

I doubt I'm ever going to forget the time I'm going to have in India.

India sounds pretty cool, but if I was going straight after school I doubt I'd have enough money to enjoy everything I'd want to in one trip. I like the idea of schoolies because it's a cheap fun time to unwind, I'll wait through a couple of years of uni/working until I go for proper overseas holidays with or without friends.

We have the money to do it. Besides the airfares, everything is relatively cheap there, besides accommodation were we are staying because of the Goa music festival.
