I'm not getting drunk, I'm just gonna have a party a few days later. I am going to a BBQ though and that should be good.
australia day is overrated
unless you're in whistler, canada
[editline]25th January 2011[/editline]
that won't make any sense to people unless you've been there before for aus day.
but it's still overrated
The only good thing about Australia Day is Triple J's Hottest 100.
A day off is a day off.

Oh my god I came.
i don't even know what i'm doing tomorrow. my mate called me up while i was sleeping and said "oi lets go *couldn't understand* tomorrow", and i just agreed. here's hoping there's plenty of alcohol wherever it is.
anyone going manly or cronulla beach tomorrow?
A lot of my mates are going to play golf in the morning, I'm gonna sleep in. Fuck em, we'll meet up later on anyway.
Had some Pop Tarts this morning and some Mountain Dew Code Red yesterday. American food is awesome, I wish they didn't stop selling them in super markets.
If you live in New South Wales and don't know where to find American imports, there's a shop in Morpeth that sells them. Morpeth itself isn't that big so you should have no trouble finding it, just be prepared for insane prices.
Is Morpeth kind of an old style town?
I think ive been there, very nice if thats it.

Yes it is, the entire town itself is "heritage". I wish they'd just knock down the stupid bridge there though, it's almost always closed and irritates me when passing by and having to take the long way. If you want specifics on the shop I forget the address itself, but it's on a kind of alleyway on the main road.
Oh yeah by the way for those that don't know some specifics of Australia, the heritage system here is stupid, because say you buy a house which is quite old (which anyone with common sense wouldn't do anyways). Then enters the fucking arsehole from a third party, who looks at your house and if it already isn't heritage, they'll make sure to get it classified as one. What does that mean? You have no say in whether you want the house to be heritage or not, and you're pretty much forced to keep the house in an "antique" state, such as using certain paints on the walls and shit like that, pretty much spending tonnes of money in upkeep. I've heard a story of some bloke who owned some land and on it a rather old building. Some arsehole got it applied for heritage, and the day after it was classified as such the building "mysteriously" burnt down.
