I don't even know when O-day is for my course. I somehow accidentally managed to walk right past the people handing out the info packets when I first walked into uni and have bugger all clue when to go in now.
You don't get an entire o-week? Surely it says on the website anyway.
We do actually need the rain, the flood nicely deposited loads of bacteria and such all around, and a flooded sewage plant has resulted in fairly high levels of crap in rivers and such. The rain would get rid of that.
And it's hot, and that sucks.
While we need it, it will still be devastating to have 2 cyclones bam bam. Tourist companies that have already lost business becasue of the rain will lose even more, and if the water doesn't get them the wind very well could, resulting in more lost revenue as they have to spend money on rebuilding what the insurance companies don't pay for, as well as losing tourists in the last part of the summer tourist season
I'd watch that game if I wasn't so lazy
I really should, I played soccer for five years

There is an O-Week but is that ENTIRE week relevant to me? I was under the impression that specific classes turned up on specific days for orientation.
yay panic buyers in shopping centres

Well I guess you find what stuff you want to check out, unions and clubs and stuff. There'll be free stuff all week and you can get invited to parties and junk.

Pretty sure you go when you want to. At my O'week I will the only one who will be sober for the whole week. Ahh having to drive to uni every day sucks so bad.

I just thought of the best reply to that, and then I realized how mean it'd be to say it
ETA?
I'm guessing ETA wasn't it, but I'd like to hear it all the same.
Although ETA is around 24 hours or something, last I heard.
I shall guess somewhere in the grey area. You know just because it seems to be the part that will be hit.
I have relatives who live some where in that area.

Are you kidding, the Summer has barely even been here. It rained for most of December, January as well. This week has been the first week when I've been in town and it's gotten over 35 degrees. It's finally warm enough to go to the beach, have water fights, eat watermelon and all that cool Summer shit that we've been missing out on.
