Any of you wanna talk to someone and be kept in good spirits until your net drops out, just send me a PM and I'll add you on MSN or Steam or something.

Was that the day they were doing that gayass scientology protest shit? Same day the Taxi drivers were having a cry about getting shanked all the time wasn't it?
Just some questions I've wanted to ask;
1. How common are kangaroos? I think a lot of foreigners get the impression that they are supercommon. Is this true? Will a kangaroo jump past you when you're casually strolling through a forest? Or are they rather rare?
2. How common are rhinobeetles(my favorite insect :D)?
in rural farmland they're pretty common, it's pretty cool to see them rolling with emus and shit. Usually in dry bushland.
they are faster than a motorbike and have a tendency to jump out in front of cars on remote roads
if you live anywhere urban they're nowhere to be found
rhinobeetles? maybe up north, I've never seen one, are they native to australia?

I used to love going roo shooting
Depends where you go if you want to find Kangarooos, kinda like deer only less skittish. The golf course my dad used to go to had Kangaroos all over it and the stupid buggers got hit all the time. I've seen a few going far out into the bush but the major roads and towns, they stay away from.
I would just like to say, I'm proud to be an Australia. Thank you.
We properly get raped by Cycolne Yasi, thought it may de-categorized. MOAR FLOODING! fuck.
Marsupials > all other mammals.
Anyone hear about those stubborn 60 year olds who refused to evacuate, then said they weren't told to leave when their help call was rejected because it was to dangerous to get them?
The dumb fucks are dead men walking, the water is going to reach the floor of the second level of the building they are in, plus waves. Water will be over their roof and they can't get on the roof because of the wind.
I feel sorry for the families of them.

Yeah. Fucking morons. They were probably too stubborn to leave. My guess is they were like, "WE'VE SURVIVED CYCLONES BEFORE AND WE'LL DAMN WELL SURVIVE THIS ONE, TOO!"
I bet NOW they're singing a different tune. Fucking category 5 cyclones/hurricanes are NO laughing matter. These things are some of the most destructive natural systems on the fucking planet.
Just read something about a 12-year old boy in Queensland. He, his lil brother of 9 and his mother got carried by the water currents so they tried to climb on a car and wait till the rescue squad picked em up. The mother of the 2 let the 12 year sit on her back, while he held his little brother for the rescuer to save him. His little brother simply kept screaming 'don't let my mom die don't let my mom die'. When the rescuer went back to pick the other two up, they were gone with the current.
:smith:
Read that too :smith:
Australian babes please.
