Most of you are commenting on YOUR childhood TV shows, kids probably from 4-11 will probably think, "Those look sucky" or however those little kids say it. My point is, you guys think that those older shows that you guys used to watch are far more superior to what 4-11 year old kids watch now.
You guys: Older Shows > Newer shows
Kids : BAKUGAN IS AWESOME!!
yeah, kids will look back and laugh at their shows with retarded half references to clockwork orange.
cept the new references are only funny to people who have a passing knowledge of these sorts of popular things.
Your face is dying.
nothing, I repeat, NOTHING will ever beat this.

God damn I loved that. I remember seeing it on TV and I had a few boxsets which I watched loads of times. You've made me go and hunt for some on the internet now.
Good memories, I hate the fact that modern cartoons looks like they are drawn in Flash.

Everything's too defined, and some even look the same (A lot of cartoon network shows are guilty of this).
Anime and cartoons can be both action and/or comedy.
Cartoons are more Action and comedy oriented, anime is more shit oriented.

Any cartoon that has even the tiniest sliver of airtime looks better than this crap.
The worst thing is, Lucky Star or whatever it's called is inexplicably watched by people my age, so perhaps it's a bad example. My point about bashing the art style still stands, however.
HANNAH MONTANA HAS FUCKING UGLY TEETH.
Also, yeah. Courage the Cowardly Dog was creepy as fuck but awesome. I'd shit my pants in some episodes, but as I grew older, so did my love for the show.
Ed, Edd and Eddy was alright, but as I got older, it got more boring and annoying and just stupid. I quit watching cartoons about 5 years ago. I'm 16 (17 in october) now.
I remember rushing home from school at 3pm and putting on CITV and watching Sonic and stuff. Good days. And that green dragon things shop. He'd have a shop with weird ass puppets that came to visit. Was annoying haha
Seems like the dumb ratings are coming from people who either never watched cartoon, or doesn't have a good childhood.
Coop is most likely your average Facepunch user.
I miss the Original Scooby Doo series. Even though they had that (fake) crappy annoying background laughter, like on the crappy annoying sitcoms.
I also miss the Animals of Farthing wood (I never saw the end of it ;-;) and Woody Woodpecker...
Wait, is it just me or are all the good old cartoons to do with animals in some way or another?
It's true.
I missed the old Blocky Transformer. The newer ones looked like a pile of scrap metal heap together to form a body.
I miss old cartoons.
Freakazoid, Tom and Jerry, Ducktales and Courage the cowardly dog.
They are mostly crap due overusage of computers ( usually results in quite shitty animation ), trying too hard and trying to be anime ( seriously, let Japanese do that ). Also there are too much 3D-shows in my opinion.
The best were courage the cowardly dog, edd ed and eddy, Postman pat not really a cartoon but still good, Tom and jerry, pokemon, TMNT, and the great bikermice from mars
agree
Must we go over this every five minutes? Cartoons are not dying, the kids are changing and now have different tastes than what you had when you were their age.
And I bet that our cartoons were just as stupid as the ones nowadays, we just have been drinking the nostalgia juice this whole time.
I disagree.
Every cartoon seems to be made by a bunch of inbred hick stoners with no originality.
Look at Spongebob, or Flapjack, it appears to be made for children with exceptionally low IQ's or autistic individuals.
Edd, Ed, & Eddy
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Rocko's Modern Life
Fucking yesssssssssssss
Look at Spongebob, it appears to be made for children with exceptionally low IQ's or autistic individuals.
I like Spongebob.
Biker mice from mars!

Ohhh in my day everything was better: the grass was greener, everything on those new moving picture tubes was incredible (and we only had 2 channels mind you) and 2 pennies could get you a good meal, a bus ride home and pay off the mortgage on your house.

lol ur so funni how did you come up wit dat
The thing is just like the generations before you disapproving of the cartoons you think the new ones are shit too, its not any different its just not what you grew up to so you think its crap, nowadays kids will watch anything.
I personally don't like the new cartoons but again my previous point stands for me too.
I'm getting sick of this reasoning. I've watched cartoons, sitcoms etc. from before my birth and I find them overall pretty damn good- much superior to what we have currently.
If you look at all the cartoons today, the main character is either stupid/retarded or un-intelligent in some way.
Family Guy
Simpsons
Spongebob
Etc.
And to anyone who says Jimmy Neutron, he lacks common sense in the situations he gets into.

Courage was the SHIT !.
Can I get some Buggs Bunny up in here ?
I don't watch cartoons so it's not a problem to me.
Family Guy
Simpsons
Spongebob
They've all been around since the 90's. They've just managed to survive.
I miss Ed, Edd, and Eddy. My favorite show.
No, this is just nostalgia on your part. Of course what you grew up with will be "better" for you than the dribble they have now.
Totally fucking agree. I love pokemon, but all these kids that post here that are 12 call you a faggot. But they don't know, they have shitty pokemon episodes now. They just don't know Ijyt
I miss 90's cartoons.
i think thats the reason i watch anime now.

You don't like anime, we get it.
Courage the Cowardly Dog and Scooby Doo was the shit. Too bad the creator/director for both of them died.
I miss The loony toons, they were the shit in the 90's
