Some of the newer ones like billy and mandy, kids next door, and camp lazlo I watched. After that though it got so painfully stupid that I stopped watching cartoons entirely. Other than the kickass shit they air on adult swim and the simpsons.

Cartoons aren't dying because if you live in England you can get all old cartoons but I like all the new stuff but the best is ICarly!

I wonder why my parents (who were born in the early 60's) liked watching some of the cartoons I watched in the 90's, but despair at the cartoons my younger sister watches now? Answer: old cartoons were good, new cartoons are shit. What I'm trying to say is it can't be all nostalgia, because the cartoons from 80s-90s weren't nostalgic for my parents, but they liked them.

A lot of the new stuff is pretty lame, but not all older toons are that great. Tom and Jerry bored me to death every time, it was just a cat trying to hit a mouse with a hammer, but so many people love it. If a new cartoon was made today that had the same concept, the people who grew up with T&J would likely hate on it due to nostalgia despite the fact that it has the same basic premise. Ed Edd n Eddy was awesome, though.
