It's designed to be usable in extravehicular activity in outer space, where the weightlessness becomes a problem. The extra shoulder stuff is there to bring stability when trying to precisely aim a weightless weapon.

I'm very pleased with how the barrel came out, the rest of the colouring turned out poorly, the general shape came out pretty decent though.

The handle needs some work and the mid section of the gun looks pretty good, great job :D

Thanks :) Yeah, the shading didn't turn out the way I wanted it and I was at a complete standstill on how to make it look better, guess it's something I need to learn to do.
