In essence, it's your fault that you got bamboozled in this manner. If you are indeed telling the truth, then the only person you can blame this current woe on is yourself because you took this risk.
Hello guys, some days ago (or weeks) I bought a L4D2 key from G2play. Some days later it got removed from my steam list, so I took contact with them so I could get a new key. They asked for all my information including picture of my ID, still after all that they didn't want to refund me or give me a new key.
But today I got an email, it was from them. It stated that they could get me the game back but that they would be needing my steam account. I said to no thanks ofcourse.
This is just a warning so people should never buy from them again.
EDIT: I MEANT L4D2, A TYPO
Sure they did. Now, take your medicine.

Exactly. When you buy from a place like this, you take a risk. If it goes well, then you have a game at a much lower price. If it goes badly, then you paid 20 bucks for nothing. It was your choice to take the risk or not and you took it. Man up and face the consequences.
It's a legit site. I've done this myself guys, buying copies of stuff from other countries (When they are on huge sales) and then sell them.
G2 is very service minded.
What i find bullshit about your post is:
You said MW2 to me, but then said L4D2, being in a hurry is a pretty gay excuse for a whole other game.
Sure they didn't just mean your G2play account info?

You even said MW2 on steam and GGT. Several times.
Easiest way: Make a new account for g2play games and then give them the password for that one.
Yeah, I could even show you a recording if I knew how to hide MY email.
Get the fuck out of here :dogout:
javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0...
Derp.
Use Steam next.
For anyone reading this now, this guy is a fucking liar. If your account is email verified they CANNOT change the password unless they have access to your email too, to get the verification code when you want to change your password.
This guy is lying. This whole thread is a lie. He just wants to give G2PLAY a bad name.
Did you even read what you quoted?
Wow at everyone saying buying from G2PLAY is dumb. I've bought most of my steam games from there and for one third/half the price steam takes. I've saved at least a hundred euros buying from g2play.
On one hand, you could say it's like a host asking for a server's root password (which happens a lot for legit reasons, and also pisses people off). On the other hand, Steam info just isn't supposed to be shared.

There's a difference between asking for login info for something that is not yours and has never been yours and asking the password for something you rented to someone.

You don't own your steam account, read the EULA.
